Ok, so here are the results. Suprisingly, there seems to be a wave of enthusiasm for Charlotte again. Personally, I think we should have the dam thing in Houston, but heck that's just me being lazy.

We have previously discussed week night vs. weekend so there is no need to rehash that discussion again. I'm looking at Thursday October 7th, 2010 in Charlotte for our next M&G. You married guys, start lining up your secret plans for that night.

Because of the distance between where I live and Charlotte I have again asked Gaby Mancini and AVA Charlotte to help me with the planning. Both ladies have graciously agreed to assist.

So here are a few changes from the last event, please take note.

1. Because of the economy I am trying to do this as economically as possible. This means no high cost venues to be paid for.

2. The door fee for the guys will include one drink ticket. Any other beverages will be your financial responsibility.

3. We will have some appetizers at the venue to help defer the effects of alcohol on an empty stomach. It seems one of our previous guests was slightly over served at the last event.

4. There will be discounted hotel rooms available for those who may need to book a room. One of my Co-Hosts, AVA has considerable experience in this field and will be assisting us with this.

5. Lastly, most importantly. No fucking drama about this event on the boards. This M&G is a social, a way to put names with faces and to meet fellow hobbyist and providors. In the past I have hosted many of these events and they were rip roaring successes, the guys had fun and the ladies had fun.

6. TER is in now way endorsing this event. This is a private party that I am sponsoring.

Ok, now that I feel like a dam attorney with all the fine print out of the way, I want to invite everyone to come out and have fun. So many of you sent me PM's and wanted to have such an event. So here is the second chance. If this event is succesful and drama free, I would like to have a themed event in the future. They too are fun and can be very creative.

Next week I will have all of the contact info and I hope to have the hotel information as well. Put the date on your calendar and let's plan for a night of fun.

Sorry to pipe in so late, but may I make a location suggestion for Wilmington, NC? Who wouldn't want the quaint charm of downtown Wilmington as well as the view of the ocean close by? Makes for a mood setting venue, don't you think?

I am looking forward to the event. Any party that includes Gabby, is already a success. If it is half as good as the one's Jimmy throws, in Atl, it will be a blast. Screening would be a suggestion.

Where would a newbie find info on what a M & G is about, and the proper protocall or etiquite for these things. Also what to expect? I have 100s of questions, but i am very interested in going to see what it is about.

And no one will get in that shouldn't!
