Burner app

Any ladies or hobbiests have a recommendation on a burner phone in the triad area? For years I've used AT&T burner flip phones. They are compact, easy to hide and have worked well for me. Now, they are upgrading their system, so my current phone won't work after December and it appears that all the new phones are smartphones and quite a bit more expensive. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place or maybe I just need to look at another service provider. Ideas?

No PMs please.

There are apps you can use to give you a different number.  If that is what you are worried about, you can use that app when contacting the ladies you wish to see.  I do not have a burner phone or the apps.  I have researched them though.

If you can help, help. If not don't. Guys see reputable ladies and use burner phones. In fact we have a mutual friend in common and he uses one and he is not paranoid, and I assume you are reputable.

why not just see reputable ladies?? use that phone as a play only deal and move on. If you are seeing ladies who aren't asking any questions.. well.. That burner phone may not help you much...........

Yes. My personal cell phone is also used for work and civic activities. I don't mind giving out my hobby references, but I do like to keep this part of my life separate. Also, sometimes, even a reputable provider runs into trouble. A burner makes me a little harder to track down. Occasionally, I do TOFTT, and have been burned once because of it. Every lady has to start somewhere, without a reputation in the hobby. Even you were a newbie once and someone took a chance on seeing you. And finally, when not in use, the battery is removed and phone and battery are hidden securely so family members won't find it. Even though I clean it out when I'm done with it, I have received calls and texts from reputable ladies on occasion, not leading up to a session. If that is paranoid, then yes, I am.

I don't think it's who you choose to see that determines a need for a hobby phone. Choosing to hobby determines the need for a hobby phone

You should be able to get a T-Mobile SIM card and still use your old phone assuming they aren't doing the same upgrades. Another idea would be to buy a burner SIM card for a prepaid plan compatible with your current primary phone and swapping it out as needed. You can search for an MVNO guide to find compatible options.

I prefer the Verizon network myself and have an old 3G phone I use with Page Plus Cellular. They have some inexpensive options whether you buy a phone from them or get one elsewhere. Any Verizon compatible 3G or 4G phone works.

Good luck!

Google voice/hang outs on your phone works. It gives you a new number and you can turn it on and off when you want. Also the new I Phones have a finger key pad that no one can get into your phone but you.
