Maybe I am being paranoid but even though I rarely booked anyone in the home state of NC, I don't think I will book any providers in NC moving forward.

I was wondering the same thing. I know of one provider that has left the state. What about Providers?? Or are they all going UTR?? Screening really heavy?? What about hobbyist if you do see someone, Are they well reviewed?? Or will you still take a chance??

I think they are risky.

Honestly IMO this has been talked to death in the last week+. Yes there are new laws, yes we have to be extra careful, more so than ever. But really WOW, all they had to do it seems is pass some new laws and BAM, more of "I'm not doing this in NC anymore" kinda talk.

Do you know how tough the laws are for doing "this" in the city of Las Vegas? Since Vegas tried to become more family friendly, OMG the laws are beyond strict. If you get in trouble there you have to take mandatory classes. If you are from out of town, tough shit you have to come back and take them anyway. Does that keep people on both sides of the fence from doing this-NO! You just have to be aware and screen, do your research, be extra careful, TRY and cover your ass. Is it fool proof NO but guys are going to Vegas and looking for FUN while they are there in town, and there are beautiful well known ladies there ready to show them a great time.

Things have tightened up here for sure but OMG really?

There are some really outstanding ladies here who aren't going away because of this. Boycotting the state? Congratulations, they don't even have to try to enforce them, just sit back and watch the widespread panic and hysteria do it for them.

Yes I recently seen that 336 escorts has modified there website and I must say warning to all that chooses to deal with these agencies right now! They are going to make an example out of someone. I'm guessing that's why the best has moved on so sad.. SBR you will be deeply missed. Unfortunately agencies that advertise on backpage will be targeted such as angels and 336. Buyer beware. These agencies save our info and I must say after Interludes any man in there right mind would stay far away. Stick to Indies that advertise on eros and have there own website. Chances are if they take time to invest in their advertisement they are not LEO... Beware of all the new ad's up on backpage that seem to good to be true. Guy's I would totally wait and see if she sticks around. Also eros has a new authenticated section. I highly recommend using it! Out of towners should be a red flag especially if they have no website and no review and backpage is there only outreach. But honestly guys stay clear of the agencies trust me I have been a paralegal for 8 years and prior to that I worked for the county. They will make an example out of one of these low end agencies. Buyer Beware. This New Law SUCKS!!!

The best thing for providers to do is screen and recommend that callers get the proper verification such as p411 datecheck and ter with reviews. Although due to the nature of the bill stating that your computer could be used against you most such as myself has went in and deleted there accounts in a wide spread panic. You are right in a since the panic is what they want. But it is a time for one to become aware to the fact that everything just changed. The bill also states that LE can impound ones car and for a hefty fee of 1,000 it's yours again. Hell who wants to get a felony over a discreet encounter??? I don't and neither do most of the other hobbyist on here. The only thing this means is go for girls you can trust and keep your eye on certain ones before you leap in to make a move. There will always be LEO lurking especially around election time. Just be careful ladies. Screen Screen Screen. And guys be careful of who you call. Just because it looks inviting doesn't mean you shouldn't do your homework. Stay away from high call volume agencies that have been overly exposed to backpage they will be the targets here! Them and Johns. If they can flush out the demand then they figure they can solve the problem.

Sound more like an urban myth. Based on the prevailing conditions in NC, they are going to target everyone they can.  

Agencies have alway been "targeted" regardless if they are advertising on backpage or eros. After the many highly publicized agencies busts one would think people would catch on to the dangers of dealing with  those who create a lot of attention & traffic.

Of ladies and agencies they bust, again, NOTHING new about that at all it's just in writing now that's all.

It's long been known by those who have consulted lawyers about this in the past that if, for example a lady owns a home and see clients there they can have their house taken from them by the Feds! Ok, so now it can happen with local LE, state investigators too. Again this has ALWAYS been a caution for ladies. Now the men have to be more careful as well. Um ok. The whole felony thing is this for the men IMHO. Oral sex implied by a lady you contact in her ads, marketing and so on. Probable cause is still viable for arrest so for heaven's sake stay away from ladies ADVERTISING this act specifically with stupid things like French lessons, trips to the Greek isles in their ads. this includes some of those websites out their that list all of those acronyms. That has always made me SMH when I see if and then read a disclaimer! Geez!!!

There has ALWAYS been risks, now the new laws made it easier to bust someone on both sides.

And besides that, nothing new!  Yes, the current atmosphere is more intense than normal (even on a national level), but even that is not new.  It ebbs and flows with current political climate, elections, and other factors, and always has.  Agencies have always been easier and bigger targets than independents, but there are also always "wrong place, wrong time" examples for indies.  And, pimps have always been aggressive at keeping their ladies in line (sad, but not new).  If the current attention and law get some of those types off the street and the ladies freed from that abuse, then I am all for that!!  This "new law" may be part of the current trigger, but that is all.  It is the current attention level, not the law itself that is causing these current issues.  That attention level will wane as other issues take it's focus - it always does.  The real danger here for most is constant paranoia, as it leads to nervous behavior, which IMO is as bad or worse than careless behavior.  Both will get you GOT!  

I admit I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed sometimes, but like I said last week nothing had really changed. Yes there are laws with stiffer penalties for dealing with underage girls and it seems that agency's will be treated like pimps by the law. All in the name of stopping human trafficking.  

Had anyone actually noticed an increase in LE activity? Other than the national large agency busts? I mean locally has anyone noticed anything to really raise alarm? I know there was the thing in Hickory but come on that was a stagnet incall in a visible location, matter of time before that got hot anyways. That's funny because I have never heard of anyone getting busted of eros unless another site took the ad off eros and then posted i onto there site. backpage used to be notorious for this before craigslist was shut down. And I do not believe LEO would build a website or advertise on eros that's just crazy.

Well what raised the alarm for me was when SBR packed up and left. That's a tale tale sign they are watching and planning there move. I imagine since they were THE BEST around it's unfortunate to say that they may have been the first leo made there move on. I hope not. It's sad. Agencies like SBR are great for girls. Especially those with class. I mean don't get me wrong most of the agencies left now are more like whoever wants a job is welcome. And I must say drugs and using unclean rooms is a common practice. Especially by a particular agency here! I'm sure most of you know who I'm talking about. SBR had class and beautiful women because they were fair with them. Most other agencies are ran by money hungry washed up gals who are to old fat or just to ugly to work themselves anymore. They are mad and treat the girls like there trash. That's probably why only trash you will find there. I seen a certain ad up for an agency that I hardly ever use just because there site has always looked low end and the pictures of the girls has always looked like they are all stripers ; saying they had 2 new girls this week and more coming. Well I seen one of the newbies cause the other wasn't available; and it honestly looked like she was sick or possibly a heroin addict. I guess they figure since SBR is gone there girls will actually partake in this low end world. I highly doubt it. Most of Ravens girls are gone out of town and honestly I don't blame them. Hopefully a new booking agent will arise that has class and discretion such as SBR. But its never going to be from these agencies who take half or more of there girls money. Lets be honest who in there right mind would give that much money to someone answering the phone. Its just greed. And it's like that because they don't have any good girls working for them only trash. So they have to take as much as they can just so they can keep there business going in hopes to actually find someone who is decent. It amazes me. NC Playmates used to e tolerable and Ashalee's has been around forever. GFE NC was great the time they were here. I would recommend using Ashalee's verses Tabgso /336 escorts.. It's just the truth. Don't hate the messenger.

They were in fact busted off eros, not a "reproduced" ad. Lack of screening is most likely to blame, yet it did & does happen off eros. Its just not a sensualized as backpage stings are.

One that was easy to spot...they USED to make sure the ladies were in really nice hotels. Then they started using mid range hotels. That is a MILD change that could have put them more in harm's way.

MAYBE just MAYBE the timing was perfect for them to exit and it looked like it was all about the new law when MAYBE that was about 50% of the problem, the rest was INTERNAL.

TWO ladies that worked for them were INTERVIEWED by authorities-HELLO. They can say what they want about it being a "coincidence" but REALLY???? WAKE UP! Oh and that whole thing happened at MID RANGE hotel/motels, OK? One of the ladies interviewed kept saying nothing bad happened because she was interviewed. I wonder WHY? And low and behold she changed her screen name!

WAKE up. The smartest thing SBR did was get out. They had gotten BIG and some things MAY have slipped thru the cracks. I'm saying things like MAYBE to make a point.

Yes they pulled in some great talent from all over. Oh and they were doing business across MANY state lines. Uh FEDS MIGHT be interested.

Your idea that LEO would not build a website but would set up an elaborate sting operation such as setting up in a hotel room for weeks and or watching someone for months. I can put up website in about 20 minutes which look like you are going to EROS or any other site for that matter. My guess is, they will do anything and everything they can.

I liked SBR - they were very reference friendly and professional with us independents.  But I think they got too big, but after reading about their LE interviews at those hotels (same chain, different locations), I can't help but wonder what else I don't know.

And, as I recall, all of that along with web site issues and changes to their business model happened a few weeks before the new law that has everyone in such a tizzy was even signed into law.  Just sayin'

Eerily familiar to a time a few years ago when a certain Charlotte agency (of whom I was a steady and satisfied client) got busted.  Remember how hard the sky fell then? Take it from one who knows...Stick with reviewed ladies that have their stuff together and let discretion be the better part of valor.  This too shall pass.
