Jazz, is the Alberta Lounge still the place for visiting jazz musicians to gather on Sunday afternoons? Those were good times back in the late 40s. I remember Camilien Houde, and the nite clubs just a few blocks away from the Mount Royal Hotel. My late wife and I would visit Montreal 3-4 times a year, and always had a good time.
Nearly all of my old friends up there have passed on to the big pussy in heaven. I have trouble trying to remember some of the 'hot spots' in Montreal.
Maybe I'll get to visit Montreal before I pack it in. I have learned that you can 'go back', but you 'never go back'.

and for that I am glad, but I'm sorry I can't answer question.  I love jazz, and I love Montreal (which I have visited twice), I am an American who lives on the south coast of England.  While I can't remind you the hot spots, I would gladly be your wingman as you re-discover them.

This weekend our city (Montreal) is receiving for the first time the NASCAR race, We are used to the Formula 1 grand prix...however as of today the whole down town is an open scene and the party is going to be Crazy!
