How I remember sleepless nights When we would read by candlelight, And on the windowpane outside A new world made of snow;
A million feathers falling down, A million stars that touch the ground, So many secrets to be found Amid the falling snow.
Maybe I am falling down. Tell me should I touch the ground? Maybe I won't make a sound In the darkness all around.
The silence of a winter's night Brings memories I hold inside; Remembering a blue moonlight Upon the fallen snow.
Maybe I am falling down. Tell me should I touch the ground? Maybe I won't make sound In the darkness all around.
I close my window to the night. I leave the sky her tears of white. And all is lit by candlelight Amid the falling snow.

I checked the weather for the rest of the week and Toronto is expected to get some snowfall tomorrow and a little again later in the week. I must admit I'm a little excited about this, though I am not one for walking through the slushy wet streets I do enjoy looking at the delicate white blanket of snow covering the trees outside. If you like the idea of snuggling in a warm white duvet, drinking a bold red that warms you from the inside and watching the snow fall outside our hotel room while we waste hours and hours of our day only leaving the bed to refresh our glasses and order some room service then please send me an email. I would enjoy spending some time with someone that shares my belief that snow days are lazy indulgent days for wine and fun.
