In the last few months I've had three different providers email me to let me know they were coming to Boston. The only problem was they sent me over 55 other hobbyist email addresses.
 Not Cool!!  
I don't want my email address sent out in bulk emails to others. It's for our business purposes ONLY!!

And it's definitely something to watch out for. We're human and we can make mistakes but stuff like this needs to be brought to everyone's attention (including the people responsible) to try and prevent it from happening again. Thanks for posting this message.

There is a free service you can use called Mail Chimp.  You do it all yourself, but it's an easy, safe way to send your newsletters so you're never in danger of having everyone see 50 other dudes' addresses.  You can easily import your contacts, group them by city even, and send out your newsletters as needed.

Ladies, it is very important not to do bulks or cc emails for others to see theirs.  It is confidential!!!!
