I go in spurts. Most of the time, I don't have time to hobby. But when I get the urge, I can see three providers within a week.

Your objective should be to pace yourself. Stay rational about how much you can afford to spend on the hobby. Don't spend money that you don't have or start robbing banks. Another word of warning, make every hobby dollar count, spend your money of proven provider or providers offered via proven agencies. Don't blow time and money on the ROBs that infest this business.

I also go out not more than once per week, due to limited resources.   But I alternate between Providence AMPS (1021 exclusively) one week and the other week I usually see one of many 'local talented ladies' with an occasional visiting lady.

I also travel a lot. I always make sure I have made arrangements to see someone before I leave.

Once a month on average. I do look for value (e.g., Room Service plus & cheaper Indy ) to stretch my hobbying dollars or to indulge in a higher price point once in a awhile (e.g., Aphrodite, a nice threeway, or a multiple hour sessson like I just did in Dubai on a recent business trip).

I hobby 5-6 times a year.  I have a strict budget which helps me keep it under control and limits my exposure to all of the known risks.  I choose my partners carefully so as not to waste my time and money on bad experiences.  Best of luck.

Yes.  In general I don't think providers and agencies are as reliable as they use to be in their quality of service or even whether they show up for an appointment.  It didn't use to be this way.  Perhaps it is my bad luck.  I can only comment on my own personal experience.  The economy is taking a toll on the industry as well.  Desperation brings out the worse in people.  Almost every provider (indy or agency) I see tells me how slow it is.  I am shocked to hear this from some, particularly the ones who I think guys should be knocking down their door to see them.  There are the half dozen to a dozen  providers who frequent Boston or live here who will always do well.    YMMV.

My reply is a little long-winded, but I like your enthusiasm . . .

I still enjoy this hobby as much as I did ten years ago.  If you have a healthy attitude, it can truly be a blast.

For me, it's highly variable, but in a year I'd say I have 25 sessions.  I may go 6-8 weeks without seeing anyone, then do 2 appointments in 4 days.  For me, it's driven by who is available, rather than my own transitory sexual needs.  If I am in NY or LA for work, there are girls I really like, so I nearly always see one of them (typically booked in advance).  If I am home bound in Boston, I do not really have any local regulars, so if a traveling girl I am really fond of comes to town, I make it happen.  On the very rare occassion I am insanely horny and nobody on my "menu" is around, I will check out a reliable agency like BI (which I recommend).

Just my opinion, but if you let it be driven by who is available, and only very rarely give in to horniness (i.e., let the available girls drive the decision, and not your nuts!) you will stretch your hobby dollar and truly enjoy yourself.  Not to be too blunt, but it makes sense to do 2 things: (1) create a "to-do" list when you are wide-awake, sober(!), and not looking to book that day [this will keep you realistic and thoughtful]; and (2) never buy into anything that is too good to be true.  There are 100s of cool, beautiful, fun girls in this business.  But there are absolutely NO 5' 10" Brazilian supermodels, with no reviews, available for $1.50 an hour.  That means you should ALWAYS (A-L-W-A-Y-S) consult TER!!!  I have only once seen a girl without a TER presence in my entire career (excliding girls enthusiastically recommended to me by a provider I already knew).  And guess what?  That one time was a complete disappointment!
