Hobbyist have many choices out here but do you prefer a girl that's Indy or agency?

I was supposed to see a highly reviewed Indy today but she had to cancel...2nd cancellation without ever meeting her. I find the Independent women can be less reliable and change plans on a whim leaving you high and dry. The response time with some Indy's can be quite lengthy too and keeps you guessing.  

That's why I prefer Agency. They never cancel and there is always someone available to respond to a text or answer the telephone. The downside with Agency is the available girls can change or you have to wait for them to tour back to the area.

Sorry you feel that way about Indy...I was really suprised to hear gents talking about being cancelled on...I thought we were the only ones dealing with that issue...ugh  

I never had to cancel an appt as of yet but been cancelled on lotssss of times...I'm sure that lady must of had a very good reason to cancel as its , for most of us, our bread and butter. Not in our best interest to cancel...JMHO

I understand I'm not the only guy a girl is  going to see today but agencies can send guys back to back guys on the girls and that can be a bit much.  
I was going to see a girl one time and a guy just walk out of the room he went the wrong way and when he came back past me as I was knocking on the door he said "she's super hot"...He was a fat gross slob and all I could think about while I was with her was him just fucking with her..Check please..

Indys will do the same thing, they want to keep a full schedule just as much as agencies.

I prefer Indy's but usually use a reliable agency due to the convenience of not needing to pre book as my schedule is too erratic to have that luxury, but every so often my time and finance allow me the chance to grab an Indy that's on my radar.

When I travel I'm exclusively Indy when I'm home in Boston area I usually end up with a service, although services seem to be getting to be a  rare bred in this area

Yeah that would be a huge turn off...we all know there's volume but we try not to think about it...but to see it unfold like that in front of you isn't something you can ignore.  

I agree with BobCrane that many (not all of course) indy's try to keep a busy schedule too when they are available. As they have costs to cover too and usually only become available for specific time periods.  

Papidog is spot on too. I really like the ability to be able to see someone same day and not have to pre-book several days out...so that's where I find the biggest advantage with an agency. Some indy's can be available same day but can be a challenge to book something on short notice

Please don't get me wrong as I have had many wonderful encounters with indy's without cancellations. Many indy's have been very accommodating as well in setting up same day appointments which is something I greatly appreciate.

Just from my own personal situation I've been cancelled or rescheduled by indy...I haven't had that issue with an agency (yet lol).

I have concerns that agencies are high profile and can draw more attention from LE. Every few months one is busted and the names of customers posted on line. Its happened in Atlanta, Phoenix, Washington that i recall offhand. Now that the hobby is considered to be "trafficking" here in MA, the chances are it will happen here. Sure, independents share this vulnerability. I just see the agencies as drawing more attention.

he is on the money. i know for me like last week a guy texted me ten times and the last text read "angel this is my tenth time trying to reach you!" it was sort of pushy impatient and rude, and kinda freaked me out.
 i d say if your in a hurry go for a service, and if you wanna plan a special treat, book ahead with an indie, BUT dont be the guy that acts rude when an indie is too busy to call you back same day!
 i know for me i SAY i CANbe avl 9-5.  
 however i am not at a hotel ready to go awaiting a call 9-5, i can be avl if they pre book if i dont have any appts though i make other plans.
 I d say do service if you need the last minute convenience and stuff, do indie when its planned out and try not to be a jerk to the indie for not being as prompt as a service, i know for me i do all my own scheduling and screening and have mostly regulars i had for ten years some! so. I am not a last minute appt most times, {Unless i post on bp that means i am ready now. and there now. }

I'm for independents.  

1.) I don't like the idea of my info being stored by an agency.  
2.) I don't really like the idea that the agency lady doesn't really have a lot of say in the schedule/client. I do think agency ladies see a lot more people per given time frame than independents. Which makes sense given the cut to the agency.
3.) but most important, I prefer the fact that the independent has gone out themselves and is making a go of it. They are a business owner. The person I see owns a couple businesses. We have stuff we can talk about. She doesn't have to see me.
4.) that brings me to the VW commercial. Drivers wanted. Strong independent ladies are way more attractive than those who aren't. Passengers aren't as attractive to me.  
5.) I normally schedule days or even a week in advance, so the same day appointment advantage agencies offer isn't a factor for me.

But of course that's just me. And I'm half wrong 60% of the time.

I find that Indy girls tend to be less stressed then with a agency.Its like the girls are scared of getting the call your next appointment is coming up..Plus girls come and go with a agency so if you find one you like and she get fired you can't get  in contact with her again..

An agency girl and an indy. There really are great women working both ways, but there's definitely a difference in how they operate. I'm sure a guys perspective is different, but I know how *I* performed, depending on the method of booking.

With an agency, I think I was much more hit or miss because I didn't know much about the guys or my schedule. I couldn't get a feel for the guys before hand, so when they showed up, there was either a pleasant surprise, or it was a little awkward, and I had to figure my way through it off the cuff. I definitely had a routine, and rarely deviated from it, because I just didn't know better and honestly, you do a ton of one hour appointments. And, while some guys are wonderful, they're a lot of work for one reason or another. Not being in total control of my schedule meant I couldn't plan for this, and left a lot of guys at best cancelled on because I was knackered at the end of the day, or at worst, dealing with a tuckered out Charlotte because I wasn't going to make it home without seeing him. Money can be an issue with agency girls. Not only are they not aware of their schedule, so always on the edge of "I'm never making money again", but agency and travel fees add up and must be paid whether you see ten guys or roll a big zero for the trip. While I never asked a client for money, I know plenty of girls who did. My rates were lower, so while I still tried my best, I often couldn't provide the kind of atmosphere I like, despite being busier. Since I was waiting around until 10pm the night before to get my schedule, a lot of personal things were neglected until they were an emergency 10 minutes before an appointment. If I cancelled, it was always at the last minute. The comments about agencies being a bigger target for LE are true. I'm a tad paranoid, and I definitely believe that got me out of several potential situations. While they may not have let a cop through screening, the volume and visibility definitely brought attention to us, and after a girl got questioned and rolled all she could for the cops, I noticed it even more. They aren't stupid, and not nearly as lazy as we give them credit for.

As an indy, my screening is a lot more thorough. Many more people are turned away than actually invited to come over. My rates are also high enough that I don't need to see more than one person per day just to pay for my expenses to be there. This doesn't make me as easily accessible, but it does mean that when I'm there, I'm completely there and more than happy about it. My performance is much more consistent, and I can provide at the level that I like without worrying about being able to afford it. My schedule probably does change more now, but it's because I actually have the freedom to handle personal things before they turn into a crisis and effect bookings I already have. So if no other day works and something with us needs to change, there's an email a week before saying "Hey I'm really sorry to do this, but could you do X day or Y time instead?" instead of  a flat out "I need to cancel" the morning of. My emails are not as immediate as they would be if I was with an agency or had an assistant, but starting from there, the overall experience is more personal. I also feel as if I can, I don't know, "grow" with my clients now. I can anticipate their needs after they've been screened, keep better track of little personal preferences, remember birthdays, and at least know if I've met you before you walk in the door. To me, the indy experience has been much more comfortable and natural than what I experienced with an agency, and I think it comes through when I meet people, and I know I take much better care of my regulars than I ever did before.

It really depends first on the girl. You like who you like. But there are little details on the back end of each that might make it more fun for you, and there are certain things that people can trade off and things that they just can't. There is a definite ease for you guys when booking with an agency, but I know a lot of guys are looking for more than just that, so I thought I'd give you an idea of what to actually expect from us

Very well said, from the providers point of view..most important point I think is that there are great gals in both venues.lets hope this which came first the chicken or the egg ? Debate  goes away until next week when some starts this thread asking a similar question in a week or two, I've seen this thread once a month for ten years on this board! Darwin's theory is less questioned

My biggest issue with agencies for me is not knowing where the lady of choice will be??  Hate getting in the mood  and for me getting the courage to call only to find she is no where near me. I have never been the type that would call and just see whoever was close to me unless I had a desire to see any of the ladies working. I like an indy that places an ad that she will be in my town on a given set of dates, we email and finalize on the phone and go from there, no hassles at all.

I would use agencies a lot more if I knew who was in my general area. I like the variety they offer with one phone call. So both sides have their points
