Check this out. I made an appointment through email to meet a lady at a place we had met previously. I am about 2 hours from the boston area.  I get to the motel and get the room. I fbring wine, cheese, and some shrimp for a little party. I call the number she gave me but no answer. I left a message telling her where and what room. No reply. I called periodicaly for over an hour and then left. On the way out of the motel I had an accident and to avoid increase in insurance rates I will pay for the damages myself. Over $1000 total. So for a $70 room, $40 worth of drink and food, and $1000 in car repaisrs I got nothing. Not even a phone call or email. Makes dealing with agencies look pretty good.

There are good agencies and bad independents. But there are also sleazy agencies and excellent independents.
