Thank you Dingus for removing that awful thread! Kudos!

"Whatever your name is" you should than Dingus privately for saving your reputation and source of income for your lack of forethought.

However, I shall never forget what you did.

Maybe Capedude has or has not been a pain in the arse, but not in this case. That was the Mortal Sin in this business.

Instead of pontificating about her error with "I've got my eye on you" or "I'm voting you off the island" messages (which are cryptic and irrelevant to the users who did not catch the thread)-

Authoritative members and quasi-moderators can email and advise her privately.

I've made many mistakes in my life Camille, you're correct, some of which you are perfectly aware of since I've shared them with you, but, I have never and shall never give up private information publicly or privately without express permission to do so from those that share it with me.  That's the point.

What was done by a now anonymous person, without a real apology, was the publishing on this board of a person's name and email.  Not his TER handle, his real name.  That is a mistake I have never made, nor shall I ever make.

So now I'll take your suggestion and STFU.  Will you?

to a "mistake", Camille. I am surprised at you.
A man's life could be ruined by public disclosure such as what we saw. That is not a "mistake". She is a danger to the community, end of story!

disclosing the information that was obviously inappropriately posted??  Some of us missed the thread, but these posts are cause for concern.

If you feel more comfortable, please feel free to PM me.  Whenever I hear of things like this, I always wonder if it was my info.  I would also like to know who can't be trusted.

Thanks.

Read the post directly below, obviously the main players in this post, well you figure it out.
Trust, trust, trust!!!
Why do you think we are all here, from ex's, to GF's who have cheated on us at least we should be able to trust the women we pay to be descreate with us!!
Come on gentlemen, use your big heads for once!!!

the post directly below is a one liner from Camille about protecting her cell phone number, which doesn't seem to have anything to do with the posts in this thread other than protection of privacy.

I just wanted to make sure it wasn't my info and who was allegedly untrustworthy.  I received a PM with enough details to rest easy, so I'm all set.

Thanks.

Lets talk about something else this has been harped on long enough. Me personally i am willing to give the provider in question a mulligan due to the fact we don't know what went on between her and the person in question. Especially with the number of assaults on providers that is making the news lately.

Please, such a public display doesn't really help anyone here on the board or in "the community".

If we have our differences and it appears we do why don't we just PM or email each other and resolve the problems we have that way.  Let's not burn any bridges we have so carefully built.

In other words let's just kiss and make-up and get back to what we all do best in this community.  Enjoy each others company and have some fun.  Hobby ON!

Maybe I am stupid, but reading this post and then the one from Camille below, I had to assume CD was referring to her post (as it was edited). I was very glad to her from a good friend that it wasn't her. Since I don't have first hand knowledge of who actually posted the info I won't post it, I would hope CD would put it out there....

Why not post with you real handle?

In my original post I purposely omitted the name of the provider as to not publicly drag her through the mud on this board.  It was not Camille nor, as of the writing of this post, anyone who has so far commented in this thread.

Call me condescending, call me dangerous, call me whatever you want, I'm fair game, this is not an alias, it's me.

I've provided a link to a screen capture of the old thread with all personal information removed, including the provider's name.

Decide for yourselves if I'm off the mark.  But consider this, that when a woman makes a mistake like this, it endangers the other providers too.  Screening is an important safety net and an outing of private info shall make it more difficult for the innocent to get the info they need for their safety and comfort.

If you want to blame the messenger, or attack me for stating my opinion, go ahead.

Now take a look at the screen shots, note that the poster had the ability to edit her post but never Xed out the private info as I suggested, and decide.

Your post on the original thread was totally appropriate.  I saw the providers original post and it bothered me. The thread went down before I saw your original response and hers.

You did the right thing on the original thread CD but THIS thread is just a self-serving pat on the back that you decided to give yourself.  You could have thanked Dingus in a PM and there was no reason for the finger waiving at the top of this thread. All THIS thread did was create suspicion and finger pointing.

I don't see the point.

I have to say in all honesty that CD is right on. I also think that his response was very well measured. Go back and look at the overreactions to any number of threads on this board and CD response pales in comparison.

Not taking sides but another thought might be that when a provider or agency is slow to respond, we have to accept it as part of doing business. Its possible that one of us might be very busy in our on life and that after initiating contact with a provider we may be pulled away for a period of time. Not to say this is the case in this particular instance but it does bare keeping in mind.

Hopefully no one was injured by this and CD and Camille can kiss and make up.

Am I the only one that gets aroused when Camille gets all up in CD face like that?

Okay, the Provider made a mistake.

I say forgive, but never forget.  Time to move on. If she makes the same mistake again, then crucify.  Otherwise let her find her way out of this mess and make it up to the community. But all those will have to allow her to make it up, and not keep bringing her down.

We all make mistakes. We are all guilty of something (especially with the content of this site) illegal just by being here. Also, most are cheating on their wives (should we start pointing out the hobbyists mistakes too, since we are all pointing fingers of a wrong doer?).

It's time to move on, and let the provider move on to.
