I see most of the reviews of from many of the same agencies?  I do not see any reviews or comments about those ladies that have ads in The Phoenix newspaper.  Has anyone had the please of these ladies...

Before I discovered TER, I tried the Phoenix a few times.  I really suggest you don't go this route.  The first experience I had was good, with an attractive GFE-type, but the subsequent two tries were horrible.  Basically, you have no visual concept of what these girls look like, save for what the agency operator tells you, which is almost always an embellishment.

I guess I  have a different outlook on the Boston Phoenix because I have been hobbying since before the Internet existed, and in those days the printed Boston Phoenix was the only option.  I still look at it regularly.  There are many Boston area providers who have ads there, but who do not have, and probably never will have, an Internet ad.  One place that comes to mind is Shauna's incall.  As far as I know, they still do not have a web site.

for the most part stay away. I tried to submit a review but they do not allow the phoenix web site cuz no pics, go figure. Stay away from Jessica.

There are some good ones in the Phoenix, but there are also some horrible ones.  You need to know how to weed out the bad ones.  One limitation with TER is the requirement that the lady have a web site; this rules out many.

If you have questions about a specific provider, you can post here and maybe someone will post and answer or email you.

It is very interesting that TER doesn't allow the posting of  providers from Pheonix adds but will allow the posting of  providers from Valley Advocate 'the-back-room' adds. And this is interesting because there is no functional difference in the two. Maybe TER just feels sorry for us poor slobs out here in the sticks of the 413 and 860 area codes where there are NO local providers with websites and pictures ...

I agree..why doesnt TER  allow reviews of the girls in the Pheonix??  I have used many girls in the Pheonix.  Some when I arrived were not to my liking and I just left....some great experiences as well.

I personally have't had to advertise in the phoenix because of all the support I have received from this site as well as the other one. However I wouldn't completely rule it out,I agree with what one guy said about there is propably good providers as there are bad.I think it does help alot if you have pics even if they6 are only a few.My 2 cents!!!!Love,Grayeyed Nicole

The-back-room.com has the look and feel of an escort mall. Bostonphoenix.com is a mirror of the print version. If you look at TER review FAQ's, under "Why was my Review rejected because of a Bad Website?" it reads

"Classified ads are also unacceptable. Only URL or web links will pass muster."

I'm guessing that TER wants you to be able to submit a URL that specifically points to the lady's ad. Based on this criteria, ads on the-back-room.com should also be rejected because you can't link to a specific ad.

Just my opinion...

that there's alot of ISO info requests on the these advertisers taking up bandwidth instead of reviews stating "see her if you like TS's" or "it was like making an appointment with Estelle Constanza".

It's going to take me A LONG TIME to get this frightening image out of my mind! ;)

I'd post about it ....but I can't get it into the review section;)

I had a review rejected that only listed "the back room" as the URL.  There is no difference between "the back room" and the Phoenix.

TER misses out on a lot of good reviews because of its odd policy.

Point well taken about the-back-room.com.  Those ads and the Advocate classifiedsoffer no photos and no information.  On the other hand, reviews might shed some light on who the worthwhile providers are.  Some of the ads sound attractive and run for a long enough time that there must be some satisfied customers, but for someone like myself who wants the best possible assurance of an enjoyable experience, they really provide very little guidance.  Caveat emptor even with photos and reviews, but these ads give too little help for my taste.

companions that don't have a website that are exceptional! (Not saying that you were stating that without a website they were bad - but there was an implication there).

Many, many companions NEVER advertise at all!

. . . when using the Phoenix ads.  Occasionally you might find someone worthwhile, but the odds are probably no better than one in three.  In the bad old days, that was my experience.  Very high rates of bait and switch, upselling and good old fashion rip offs, as well as a whole lot of flakes.  These days, there are plenty of choices for well-reviewed ladies.  If you wish to take one for the team (or just one for you) in the hopes of finding a hidden gem, by all means, but forewarned is forarmed.  I gave up the Phoenix crap shoot a long time ago, and unless and until Field Marshall Ashcroft starts reading my email and cataloging my web browsing, I am never going back there.

One more thing -- if you are going to see someone who advertises in the Phoenix, you are choosing to see someone who either has chosen to advertise at the very bottom end of the market or who is not aware of where the hobby has migrated.  Ask your self whether that is the type of provider you want to meet.
