Boston

This is what winters were like when I was a kid

It would depend a bit on exactly where I was going.  I'm relatively close to Boston so if it was an appointment in the city and I knew that garage parking would be available I would venture out.  If I had to deal with the burbs and sitting on I-95 for hours then probably not.  Obviously it also depends on the woman!

The snow definately keeps me from going out. With on-street parking and tons of snow blocking spaces, I usually limit my excursions to early morning gym and grocery runs. I will also tend to stick with friends who have demonstrated prior scheduling reliability because the last thing I want is to be delayed or NCNS by someone I haven't met before and then return home to find no parking.

Honestly, Rox, it does have an impact.

As a Boston suburbanite, it takes me quite a while on a good day to get into town to see a provider.  If there is a winter storm to contend with, I am less likely o venture out.

Even to see a total hottie like yourself, it does no one any good if one cannot make it into town safely for the appointment or cannot accurately predict what time one can make to town for an appointment.

A more local incall to work (for me) in Burlington/Woburn area is better, but that assumes I go to work, which may not happen if there is a storm.  These days I am less likely to go to work in a storm since computer networks as so good that I can be nearly as productive at home as I am at work.

For this storm, it sounds like there will be serious impact Tuesday - Wednesday.

BTW, I hope this does not put off visiting ladies coming to Boston in winter.  Even with less than stellar weather, we still have stellar providers (like you!) coming to the Boston area in winter. I do hope that continues.  Most storms impact 1 - 1.5 days.  Hopefully that will still make it worthwhile for you to come.  (And come again!)

"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift, but not TOO swift, completion of their appointed rounds" as long as it's a little bit of snow and you can still get around without needing tank treads to drive and a bulldozer to clear a parking space.

I'm sorry to say that this crazy ass for shit blizzard weather is definitely affecting me. And more snow is on the way? Where are they going to plow that?

Rox,

As I read your post it seems like you did not get a room.

You want us to play outside in the snow? While we maybe party people and enjoy a great time, it would seem appropriate to play indoors at this time of year.

Remember the center of town has the Public not Pubic gardens.

Have a great trip and hopefully not too many cancellations.

we haven't had a winter like this in many yrs. 4 to8 inches a week no worries but a foot of snow each storm at least one a week all winter long is really bad and I hate to say it definaately effects business and everyting else.
Its difficult to navigate driving times and where theres not an accident and so on. Although we are hearty ppl and weather thje storms pretty well its an issue no doubt.
I don't do incall in the city so I can't really say about that.
Dress warm bundle up and maybe it won't be such a bad storm this time around.

Oh the weather outside is frightful,
no more wood for the fire, "oh delightful!"
And now I can't get out to go,
Fuck the snow, Fuck the snow, Fuck the snow

It doesn't show signs of stopping,
My roof is creaking and popping,
The lights no longer glow,
Fuck the snow, Fuck the snow, Fuck the snow

The fire is slowly dying,
The weathermen are clearly lying,
My ATF just cancelled, "OH NO!!!!"
Fuck the snow, Fuck the snow Fuck the snow

So, after watching the weather report this evening, I have a question...

Do Boston hobbyists still venture out to play even in the snow?  I know that as New Englanders, you have to be used to a certain amount of crazy and/or severe weather.  I guess I'm just wondering how drastic the conditions outside have to be to keep you away from any fun. :)

Thanks, party people!

As long as the roads are passable things should be fine.  Even if they aren't, guys that are local to where you are staying might take public transportation or walk.  It certainly puts a damper on things but it's not the end of the world.

I love to drive in the snow. But not into Boston.
inside the 128 ring traffic is paralyzed during a good storm. Parking sucks and you can't even make a guess at the drive time.

do to work. during or night before storm. i stay near boston.
I am in a hotel for the evening and love seeing someone.
I am waiting for someone to come by now and sometimes it hard to find during storms
the best would be if i could a hotel where a new someone would be at, I could get my own room in same place. have our fun and just stay in bed and fall asleep as she says bye and walks down the hall.

that would be the best
