The two recent threads on reviews got me thinking.

How many guys have been pressured into giving a poor review from any of the top providers to drop them out of the top five?

the number of times i've asked *not* to write reviews is... i dunno. a lot.

It's something that happens with established providers who are about 50/50 home/travel and have relatively full rosters. Most of them think dudes inflate reviews because they know providers read about them before booking (rightly), and giving a good score reflects positively on them. Does it? Apparently not, but also i think lots of people just want to "justify their spending." It's not worth raising their score when they have no need to expand their client base.

I can't blame ladies for making an attempt to manipulate their reviews and scores. It is, frequently, their livelihood after all and that is worth protecting.

I have never been asked to give a LOW score.  That's crazy.  I was asked politely, after a fantastic date, to NOT give a review at all because the provider was sick of reading "objectifying stories" revolving around f**king her.  She has hundreds of reviews, a great average.  And I understood her position and didn't review her.  Actually appreciated her reasoning.  What's disappointing is that she said she has asked clients for a while now to not review her (you know, actually respect her wishes) and pretty amazingly people here till just go ahead and write a review.  She has like 25 just since she started that. Obviously guys do for 15 days of VIP.  Lame.  But because of the nature of the hobby, the cliche "it is what it is" applies.

I've been asked by a provider whether I'm going to give her a 10/10 in such a way that I found it hard to refuse. I never reviewed her. She had a lot of 9/10s or 10/10s and my experience was not bad at all. I would've rated her 8/9 and would've definitely visited her again and who knows I may have rated her 10/10 after multiple visits. But her insistence that I rate her 10/10 kind of spoiled it for me. If there are certain things that the clients do (like having to ask explicitly for a donation) which put providers off, there are certainly few things that providers do which put clients off. Talking about reviews is certainly one of them. Just my two cents if providers care about retaining good clients.

I recently noticed that a provider that I first reviewed with a 9/9 had also got 4 other reviews 9.10 10/9 etc then one guy comes up with a 7/2 .WHAT? He said that she didn't use the sex toys he wanted or some other foolishness.. I'm not going to lie, you just cant please everyone.

I have to say I've never been pressured by any provider to give them a great review, it's never even come up in conversation. I'm not a prolific reviewer like some are and write one only when I think it matters. If it were a total terrible experience or felt ripped off I would write one to save someone else the same fate but if it were middle of the road I would probably abstain from it due to it may only be a case of personalities not clicking and that would not be fair to the provider. I would also write one for an outstanding time where I feel the service was top notch.
