I think there just 2 options, the adult section I’m the Boston Phoenix which came out once a week and the classified section in The back of the monthly Boston magazine. We’re the other options back in the 1980’s and early 90’s?

I think there was another weekly called Boston After Dark. I don't remember if it had personals or classifieds. And there was "The Real Paper" for a while, too.
