Last week an escort from Las Vegas named Alexis was murdered. Now I'm told that Summer Breeze from Washington DC was just murdered in Georgetown. This hobby is getting more and more dangerous for the ladies every day.Once again this brings up the importance of doing a good job of verifications whether you are an agency or an independent. There is NOTHING more important.Your life may depend on it.It has been my experience that many ladies do a good job when things are good and they are making money. However they tend to let their guard down when money is tight.
For those of you who think that this doesn't happen in Boston, think again. Not only did we have a former moderator of the other board attacking ladies, but Loni of Atlanta was attacked here last week. She thought she did a good job of verifying the guy with a driver's license. His name is John.He is around 5'8" and weighs around 215 pounds. He brought some wine and asked her to get some ice. While she was out he went after her handbag and pushed her down when she returned and caught him.He stole $1000,her driver's license and credit cards.
Maybe we guys should better understand that for us, verification is an inconvenience but for the ladies its their lives.

omg!!  I'm so sorry to hear this happened to Loni :(  Friggin creeps who do this kinda of crap need to have their cajones cut off.

Ladies, if the men are sincere and honest, they should have no problem showing ID.  I don't have a problem with it and perfectly understand.

Thank you Bob for bringing this to our attention, I do not spend a lot of time on the boards so I had not heard about anything happening to anyone.  My heart goes out to the ladies and their families who have been wronged.

Ladies, please be very careful here is proof once again that verifying can be the difference between life and death!

Stay safe Lovelies!!!

Ladies it can happen to anyone of us.  I was caught with my pants down!   Local and visiting providers if you like more info feel free to email me [email protected].     Vegas Bob "THANKS" for looking out for me and being so caring.  As a provider that takes security strongly "We all" seem to think that our method of verifying a new client is LE/Creep proof but you know I just had my 1st learning lesson in Boston.  We live & learn and hope to god that your luck doesn't run out!  Have fun and play safe guys!

I am horrified that Loni had a problem here in Boston  and very glad to hear that shes ok.
I don't want to see Boston get a bad reputation there are many wonderful men in our city and of course surrounding areas .Many many more than their are creeps .
Boston isnt the only place having problems like this though its everywhere .
Verification is a great tool for some but wont exclude the ones who are crazy enough not to care if you know who they are or not. Those are the ones we all need to worry about .
References and the buddy system thats all I can say .
Indy's check your references , ladies use the buddy system find a local lady that works in your area and try to watch out for eachother . Check in with someone before and after each session no matter how much of a pain it is.

Be sure that someone knows where you are or where your going.
While most hobbyists aren't dangerous and are more often than not great guys to say the least dont be caught off guard if you get one of the not so nice ones .
Stay safe happy and sane

I want to include: Although, I do send alot of my clients, to other ladies, just because they say that "Mel sent me", it is still a good idea to check back with me, for any Tom, Dick, and Harry, could just say that. Always check with me, to make sure that I have met them. Or, it could be the case, where they were looking for something particular, that I could not give to them, so it could also mean that he and I haven't met, and I just forwarded them along to some of my close lady friends. Ladies just be careful, and as other's have stated on this thread: ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, verify and CHECK YOUR REFERENCES!

Gents,

We bare ALL to you, and all we ask is for a bit in return...a work number; provider reference.  It isn't that difficult.  Just enough, but not too much.  For us, first of all, you know where we work and/or live, what we drive, what we look like, and unless you are built like Chyna, that we can be overpowered...I never take only ID.  That is me, though..and I feel safe doing that.  Always hide your things, ladies, never leave him in the room alone...Send HIM for ice...a gentleman will always oblige...and when you see his ID if he has given you an employment reference; read it, quickly...I just happen to have a fairly good photographic memory..I can remember a name and license# if I am unsure...In military terms, CYA ladies.  The gents do it, and so should we.  I'm sorry this happened to Loni, and hope she is alright...

Be Safe...Please!

Sexy Sofia

VERY IMPORTANT!!  Always, always, always let someone....anyone know where you will be, and who you will be seeing.  If you must, leave a message on your own home machine if no one else.  It does help greatly when you mention to a gent that you don't like working late sometimes, or being alone on tour, but it's alright because someone ALWAYS knows who you are seeing, and when.  I will continue to call my SO, even when we argue, and he will always write down the info when I am seeing a new gent for an outcall...Heck, call me!!!  Just tell someone...that is a very good way to cover yourself even more...and if the worst should happen, he won't get to the next block.....Be safe...

P.S.  Ladies...no matter what or who you schedule with..If your gut instinct doesn't jibe, cancel.  Any gent who is a decent man will understand when you tell him you just don't feel comfortable seeing him at this time, and to please reschedule when his references are more concrete.....No fuss, no muss, and no mishaps....

i don't care if it's illegal or not (since when did that hamper the hobby?) but if i were a provider i'd be secretly clutching a small handy container of mace or pepper spray the first time i was with a new client (hold it close as long as possible but certainly during the pre-encounter "get-2-know-you" phase of the session). some brothel workers in Europe hold on to them the whole time!

as any women's self-defense instructor would tell you, a can of mace and a loud whistle (let alone a few strategic martial arts moves) are INVALUABLE tools you shouldn't go without.

please protect yourself! hearing ghastly stories like these (too many of them over this holiday weekend it seems) gives me the creeps. my prayers to those who lost their life recently. it's a horrid shame to think it didn't have to end that way.

This diheratens me greatly. Ladies please, please be careful. These kind of creeps creates a bad situation for all. I suggest that we all share information and take care of each other.

When I first started as hobbyst, all the verification used to annoy me then I thought about it and realized that the verification is essential for both sides and now I don't see providers who don't ask good questions for verification, to prtect my self. I think if they don't ask questions, they will compromise my privacy at some time.

Likewise, when a provider asks for verification, it is essential to cooperate, this makes them comfortable and as an hobbyst, you will have better time. Suspicion will affect the overall experience.

Even though I have not met Loni, my thoughts and prayers are with her and widh her speedy recovery.

I used to live in Boston for 3 years, the city used to give me the creeps. I always felt that one doesn't know whom to trust and who not to trust. After trying for three years, I came back to Atlanta. I still go to Bostan for business and still fell the same way. Rememebr the movie Silence of the Lambs with Jodie Foster (won Oscar). In real life, it happened in a bar Beford Mass, 15 miles outside Boston, I was living in Boston at the time.

I am not bashing Boston, there are some very nice area's and some very bad area's. Very nice area's are very expensive. I would also recommend, any of the ladies visiting Boston to stay away from Beacon Hill, Oxford, Attleboro (Borders  Rhode Island)areas and don't go for hotels on the basis of room rates are, research room rates for some good hotels and compare, the difference in rates will give you an idea, how safe the area is.

I have met some wonderful ladies in Atlanta with whom I have become friends, and I wouldn't want anything bad happen to any of you.

If your GUT tells you to be careful then take all steps necessary to ensure your safety.

Be safe

I still think there should be a hobby SWAT team made up of 4 or 5 of the biggest of us around on call for the ladies. Loni must have enough info on this guy to id him for everyone else. If he calls again set him up for a time he'll never forget.

I first want to say thank you Vegas Bob for being the top notch guy that you are stay sweet!   I'm Kendall a really goood friend of Loni's she is o.k. just very frighten right now.  Loni has receive mixed emotions from the hobbyist and the providers.  Loni received email that was very rude and down right wrong.   See I was there so I know the facts. Loni did a verification screening on this guy.  There are people out there say some really hurtful $#!t to her.  She is my friend I want everybody to know that this can happen to anybody not just her.   Her heart goes out to Summer Breeze and Alexis she knows how truely bless she is for being able to live though the whole ordeal.

I know for first hand how things just happen and sometimes there is nothing that we can do about it.   I just want people to be really fair an think about if this was you staring the beast in the eye what would or could you have done.  I want to say I love you Loni and keep your head up girl.

Boston, Is a wonderful place to work ladies!  The guys there are just great to the girls.     This can happen anywhere in the U.S. don't think that you are exempt from it all!    Just keep verifying your clients and Yes keep some form of protection with you to bash those Creeps head in!

Stay safe. Kendall
Please excuse me for flaming on the board.

The movie you are referencing is about a woman that was raped in a bar by several men (The Accused, I think is the title) - still a horrible crime but much different than cannibalism, mass musrders and being locked in a pit by a psycho.

I understand your creeped out by Boston but please don't pile on more to the city than is deserved.  Certainly, what happened to Loni and others should not be tolerated - but I don't think Boston has a hire preponderance of violence towards providers than any other city.   To say that the entire city gives you the creeps - that's going a little too far.  Just because the Atlanta child murder case happened in Atlanta doesn't mean that no children should be raised there.

I agree with everyone else about verification.  If I'm not comfortable giving the necessary information, I don't - and if a provider isn't comfortable with what I've given, or my tone of voice or whatever then she shouldn't see me.

Unfortunately, this hobby brings out the worst in some people but it is not a reflection on the hundreds of good men and women in Bean Town who participate.

That's right Silence of the Lambs was Hannibal Lecter.

New Bedford, not Beford. Or was it Fall River? Still not Boston and more than 60 miles away. That's like saying Boston is bad because someone got murdered in Nashua NH 15 to 20 years ago. Oxford and Attleboro are also NOT Boston they are in completely different counties. And are actually pretty quiet little towns. If tippu thinks these places are creepy, I'd hate to see what he thinks of Roxbury, Dorchester, or even Lynn for that matter.

While what you are proposing seems like a good idea to me, it is emphatically illegal. If you don't want to draw LE heat to this board, think before you post. This board and hobbyists in general walk a thin line, vigilantism is just one more reason for unwanted attention. I suggest you edit your post.

For someone who supposedly lived in Boston for 3 years you do not know very much about it.

Bedford (15 miles Northwest of Boston) and the place where the actual crime you're trying to recollect took place which is a  town called New Bedford about 60 miles Southeast of Boston are two very, very different communities.  You really need to get your facts and movies straight before posting something like this.

Stay away from Beacon Hill???  Are you kidding me? LMAO!!

Lastly, I just did a quick check of the crime rates between Boston and Atlanta.  Guess which city had a higher crime rate by approx 33%???  Yes Atlanta!

i think any "reasonable" person reading his post, especially under the circumstances, would understand the level and nature of the "venting" implicit in his remarks. no one is suggesting a hit-murder squad of vigilanty hobbyists prawling the streets of Boston, now are they?  LOL

but then again, given how "unreasonable" LE is, i guess you never know!  :)
