I have noticed they are sky high for inside and near Boston... Is there an event going on first week of November??

and it is still leaf peeping season.

The only time to catch a bargain on Boston hotels is January to March.  Otherwise tourists flock to Boston from April right through Christmas.

Boston has a very severe hotel room shortage that won't be rectified for about another 3-4 years when several large hotel projects are completed.

There are lots of reasons, The world series, Halloween in Salem, Lots of conventions, Leaf peepers, etc. This is always the time when the rates skyrocket.

I expect to pay over $300.and usually about $400 for comfort.....but even this week/weekend is a bit crazy. had hoped to stay downtown on Thurs nite and play..but even with Expedia/Priceline..I am readjusting last minute to where i want to go .

I said Boston hotel prices are as high Midtown Manhattan! I used my hotel reward points to pay for one night of my upcoming visit! That brings down the total for 3 nights down.

I've had to use points on my last 3 trips to Boston, but hey, it's my favorite place to  visit before winter sets in and after spring kicks in!

...I'd rather screw with outcall this weekend....LOL

I have twice had ladies in this situation suggest that they spend the night after an evening outcall to me. It has been fun - the "date" over, just good company and a cozy time. They had no room fee - and I sprang for a great breakfast in the morning. Just suggesting!
