Since you don't have much time to really enjoy all of what Boston has to offer, I would suggest the following, especially if you happen to be in the Back Bay area. You could go to the Top of Hub at the Prudential Center and have a drink at the bar and enjoy the magnificent view of the city from 50 stories high. You can then grab a bite to eat at Legal Seafood in the Galleria Mall. Legal isn't the best seafood restaurant, but it is probably the most popular in Boston. The food is consistently good too, but not spectacular. Enjoy your stay.

Coming just for one day! Please advise some fun things to see & to do ;)
Also some local decent seafood & asian restaurants
thank u

Boston is a great town for so many things..  If you are staying downtown take a stroll to Chinatown.  Great restaurants abound there from Vietnamese Soup (Pho Hoa) to Dumplings (Gourmet Dumpling House) to traditional Taiwanese Fare (Taiwan Cafe).

In terms of fun activities..  Well shopping on Newbury St. is always popular but I prefer hitting the Used Book Store in downtown crossing (Trinity I believe).

Enjoy the city!

sounds like a great adventure for "new yorker"
u can be my tour guide ;)

The Fanueil Hall Marketplace is a lot of fun, there's usually some kind of performers working outside, at least in good weather.

The Aquarium and the IMax theater are nearby, and so is my favorite seafood restuarnt, The Chart House out past the Marriott on Long Wharf.

Also, the North End is near by with lots of nice shops and restaurants.

Have fun.

looking at that picture that some of the fun things/best times could be had indoors.

and all the great places to eat in the North End.

Of course to really enjoy Boston, you need to stay more than one day, and I suggest the true Boston experience...

take a walk from Kenmore Square, down Commonwealth Ave, to Mass ave, take a right, then a left onto Newbury St., then stroll leasurely down Newbury, cross over to the Boston Gardens (swan boats not BBall) then to the Commons, then to Tremont (towards Cambridge) cross through City Hall Plaza, down the steps to Fanuiel Hall, through the shops, then over to the North End for delicious dining and dessert.

Hopefully, it will be one of those sunny, early spring days when the air is fresh and clean, and you feel on top of the world.

That would give you an insight into why we love Boston so much.
