As always there is chatter on this board about "Why do I need to be screened" or "Why do I need to give up so much information"  or my favorite "Why hasn't my reference returned the requesters phone calls". And as usual us ladies and many gentlemen come back with the laundry list of reasons.

However, with all the buzz and paranoia why not try, Date-Check.com or Preferred411.com they both offer a limited time free membership, all the ladies on these venues have also been screened and over 50 on P411  are located here in Boston alone.  In my humble opinion they are safer than CL.  Gentlemen this these sites are not Card Blanc and you also have to pass the screening process. So please don't reply with "You didn't mention that part"

I've been a member of both for a number of years now, and to me, they are invaluable. Most of my playtime is when I travel, and they are both great for the wandering hobbyist. There are ladies listed all over the country, and they have referral features similar to the whitelist, here on TER.

I completely agree I am a  lifetime member of Date Check and find it to be the most painless method available.
I'll go one further,I will probably only see ladies registered on these sites now.
