when he said the other night that:

1. The Yankees are in the World Series. Big Deal, we all know what money can buy.
2. The Marlins have a storied history equivalent to that of a Geo Metro.

So a Yanks vs. Marlins series is about as exciting as popping a zit.  But the Cubs vs. Red Sox would have been history unfolding before our eyes and simply great for baseball fans all around the world.

Forty-eight hours ago, I was all set to announce next week that I would be away for 24 hours. I've never been to Wrigley. Oh well...
