The following URL has been inaccessible since Saturday.

Anyone have any luck reaching it or hear any reasons?

You can get through to the main page but the message board server(s) appear to be down.

I know this is off subject but...

Something else I noticed while trying to access...did you ever try variations of the domain name?

http://www.thebigdoggie.com/
http://www.bigdoggie.com/

Interesting results...

I always try to convince people that they should register a .COM name if possible (rather than .net, .org and so on). Many web browsers still treat .coms kinder when you don't enter an entire address. For instance, if you just enter "bigdoggie," many web browsers (software) assume bigdoggie.com.

Lesson learned especially if you're operating an adult website...whatever domain name you choose, it's a good idea to register that name under all available extensions (at least the most popular ones.)

For instance

mysite.com
mysite.net
mysite.org

You could set all the domains to point back to your site's server.

Just my opinion...for what it's worth.

It's strange that some of the bigdoggie boards still work while others don't.  Wonder what the reason behind that is?

I need to return a call to TBD himself today as we have been playing phone tag-I'll ask him.  I have been away for a few days and just back and available and it's been frustrating not to be able to post my upcoming schedule!  Grrr!  If I get him real time and find something out, I will update this post later today.

Hugs & keep warm,  Kate xo

Spoke to Charles and he said the server that hosts several cities (incl. Boston, TN, ME and others) is not expected to be up until Monday.  His main technical contact is away on vacation in the Carribean (lucky guy!) and he has done everything he can remotely to fix the problem (sever is too far away for him to physically access).  He has other contacts that can help him on Monday.  So, till then.........   Stay warm, K
