You definitely want to be represented by an attorney, so you don't shoot yourself in the foot.

If you didn't say anything to the cops when you were stopped outside the Hotel, you probably would not be getting the "invitation".

Thus, you need to get an attorney yesterday!!!!!

If you got stopped by LE coming out of a hotel after seeing an escort and then get summoned to a magistrate hearing for "sexual conduct for fee", what usually happens and do you need a lawyer?

I know this has been posted several times in the past two years.

It should be mandatory viewing for all to play here.

if this happened in Boston it would have been in the paper, picture and all. That is something to remember that if you get caught for solicitation in city limits you will be published in the paper.

what sucks is you have to face a magistrate in front of 100 other people.

Somehow I doubt that this is the exact circumstance.  LE is not setting up outside of hotels to stop random strangers walking out. There is not nearly enough evidence to convict you of anything in that case and frankly it's not worth their time or effort.

Now, if you told me that you got nabbed leaving the motel room of some Back Page girl that would not surprise me at all...

this question was posed on another board months ago.

Same similar circumstances, as the john exited the providers room etc. etc. police issued a summons for a hearing.

I call BS on this, especially in Boston.

Just saying !!!

Something similar happened to me a few years back.  I had just gotten home from a deployment (Yes, I'm Navy Reserves, 19 years) and was itching for some fun.  I browsed Eros and found a visiting lady that looked promising.  I checked and there were a couple of reviews that were pretty good.  Called, set up appointment for lady that day.  I arrived at a downtown hotel and called her again.  Once I got the room and left my donation I went to freshen up.  I come back into the room and the phone rings.  It's hotel management and they need to come to the front desk immediately.  She then gives me this story about how some guy tried to rob her the night before and how she had reported it to the hotel and the cops.  She asks me to go with her and I did.  I should have got the hell out of there but you know what the little head says.  As soon as we got off the elevator and into the lobby the hotel manager was standing there with 2 undercovers.  The immediately ask who I am and for my ID.  Of course I comply and they tell me to stay put.  They took her to question her for a while.  This went on for a while waited for about 45 minutes.  One of the detectives then comes over to me and asks me a bunch of questions.  What was I doing there?  How do I know this girl?  What's her name? Where is she from? etc.  No sense on lying at this point but I told them why I was there and I have no idea what the ladies real name is.  He then gives me back my license but tells me not to go anywhere.  They then take the girl back up to her room.  After about 15 minutes, the same detective comes down with his Seargent and now he wants to talk to me.  He looks at my ID and I told him how I just gotten back from deployment, etc.  He asks me the same questions and a little bit about my background.  You know, if I've ever solicited for sex before? etc.  He then tells me to leave to never return to this hotel for this reason again.  He tells me that this is an extremely dangerous activity I'm participating in and that I should stear clear of it.  He also said that this might not have gone so smooth if I tried to lie about why I was there and that if he wasn't a former Navy Seabee he may not have let me go so freely like that.  I guess membership does have it's privledges.  When I left I saw 2 other undercovers escorting the girl through the lobby with all her stuff.  When I got home I checked Eros and her ad was promptly removed.  I tried calling her but all calls went to her voicemail.  At the end of the day, I was out $$$ and a whole afternoon wasted talking to the cops.  Lesson:  Adequate screening works both ways.  She really didn't screen me and I should have taken note of that.  Should have used that as my own personal screening tool.
