Hi Boston,
I need your advice once again, what do you do if there is a confirmed meeting, then right before you get an email from a provider reference saying that the client is "not safe" to see? From what I found out about the hobbyist looks and seems normal to me, but getting an email from the reference, I did not go through with the call. Let alone pick up the phone....No he is not on this board, I verified him through another screening site... Just need some thoughts.
Have a great weekend! It's FINALLY acting like May here! :)

Well, I wouldn't see the guy either but my question to you is why did you confirm the appointment before hearing back on the reference? Again, I would have done exactly what you did but it sounds like you may have approved the guy a bit prematurely.

Well, I heard back from 2 out of 3, and then the 3rd one sent me this crazy warning email, so of  course I took that into effect. I'm not trying to be a statistic, lol. Thanks for the support everyone!

While I tend to agree to some degree (I essentially run my own business also), the small cadre of hobbyists that have no issues can probably vouch for no screening/scheduling issues.

Of course, I have no idea as my schedule needs to get its act together so I can see her! ;-)

You must take of yourself first.your safety must be your number one priority.

Again, No one is saying that you should have seen the guy but, as Camille said, if you require three references then wait for all three to come back before you agree to see the guy.
