Check your references in addition to screening. Do not risk your life or well being for $. ..or go on the assumption of "he must be safe if he saw ___________ twice" or so. Lots of loonies out there trying to play James Bond. Crappy.
I had someone use fake references and fake verification information. If the guy shows up and looks like a skinny and effeminate Billy Bob Thornton, he's been going around stealing and beating girls. BE CAREFUL.

That is why you don't see direct links to relevant news articles or arrest reports. You can lead people in the right direction with a few keywords for them to look up.
There is no rule against posting a TER name, but when you do, be prepared for rebuttals. This pot has been stirred several times on the Boston board this year.
