So, with all the hullabaloo about LE cracking down on the hobby in Boston... where are the arrests?

I just scrolled the BPD News and found nothing but drug possession and/or trafficking, robbery, B&E, and domestic disturbances.

Do they not post arrests for the hobby?

Also, let's say I do visit a provider and get arrested.  Should I plan on having some extra money on me to bail myself out?  Or is that money confiscated and I have to call someone else to get money for bail?  (Can you tell I've never been arrested?)

Then, where is my name and face posted for the world to see?  As far as I can tell, nowhere.  But I know that must be wrong.

Oh, one more question... how long would I sit downtown while being booked?  Is it an overnight process?

I know it shouldn't be an issue as long as I choose a reputable provider with many reviews, but I need to mentally prepare for the worst.

Thanks.

Don't worry so much, as far as I know they have never arrested the clients. Ma. does not post photos of client like Arizona and some other states do.

I don't think the BPD is interested in raiding the hotels ect. They seem to go after the street walkers that still do exist in certain areas of Boston. They conduct these stings on week-ends in the spring and summer. The location will be published in the Boston Herald on Monday or Tuesday along with the names of those arrested. I heard that they take your car and won't release it back to you utill after your court appearence. In the old days before the internet world you could bail yourself out and appear in court on Monday or Tuesday and pay a fine, and in a year your record would be sealed. I too have never been arrested, but that is what I saw in the Boston Court House when I was observing the way courts operate for a course I was taking in my college years. Also I am not a lawyer, just was taking some criminal justice course for credit.

I have never been arrested either. I don't that the BPD goes after hotels. They seem to conduct street stings in the warmer weather. You can read about them when they happen in the Boston Herald. Sometimes Fox 25TV and 7 News will have a story about these stings. From my understanding your car is taken from you and not given back to you until you appear in court. Back when the combat zone was around you would be arrested proccessed and pay your bail. You then had to go to court and admit to a lesser charge pay a fine and in one year your record would be sealed. I am not a lawyer but when I was taking a course in criminal justice I sat in on several court proceedings.
