--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DEDHAM — A Foxborough woman was arrested last week at a local hotel accused of offering to have sex with an undercover police officer for $200.

The Norfolk County Anticrime Task Force arranged a meeting between a Millis detective and the woman, Heather M. Morgan, at the hotel Thursday after Walpole Police found an ad on Craigslist suggesting she was prostituting herself, said police spokesman Lt. Robert Nedder.

Morgan of 186 North St. was charged with offering sexual conduct for a fee, and three charges for possession of class A, B and C substances after detectives found Percocet, Xanax and heroin in her hotel room, Nedder said.

"She said that she allegedly got the (two bags) of heroin from the officer ... but after being informed that he was an undercover police detective, she started to sob and admitted that the drugs and syringes were hers," Nedder said.

At the time, she was held on $1,000 bail, but Department of Corrections spokeswoman Diane Wiffin said Morgan was released Monday from MCI-Framingham.

Calls to a phone number listed in the Craigslist posting were answered by an automated voicemail.

It is the indiscretion of the average CL provider that causes these problems. Intelligent discrete ladies manage to work all over the Metro Boston area without trouble because they don't put out a friggin' road map to where they are or what they are doing.

newbie here judging from all the stuff I have read.  Seems like mostly everyone is able to operate under the radar so to speak.  from reading the article seems like there was more to this than the hobby.  sounds like dope was involved.

So, she was prepared to blame her customer for giving her the drugs. That's scary.

She may have had drugs in her possession but she was busted because she was carelessly promoting herself on CL as a prostitute. The drugs are just one more reason to avoid the indiscreet and careless women of CL.  Operating under the radar is a skill developed by smart and experienced providers. Learning how to tell the smart ones from the dopes out there is how we all stay out of trouble...

actually from what I know of this hobby that is very rare.
Like anything, there are drugs involved in the banking business as well. I know plenty of lawyers who smoke a little weed now and again. The drug addicted  woman posting on CL first off is not the norm, and definately  not a professional.  She is a very poor example of who is in this business. Although she is who the media would like you to think is involved most of the time. That my friend is the down side of this biz. I have never done heroin in my life, and have not smoked a joint in over 26yrs, so read all this with a grain of salt. This is a business for most of us, and not to support a drug habit. Do your research, read reviews see well reviewed ladies and you will have no worries.

Good day all...

Nicole

Interesting that in all the comments above by all the "smart" providers and hobbyists, there is no compassion shown for the girl cited. What the hell do you expect from someone zonked out on drugs and desperate??  Instead of condemnation and accusations of stupidity, girls like this need to be helped by society. But whatever form this might take, nothing will happen if we don't get off our smug high-horses, and begin to display a little compassion for the lost souls on the streets.

But, quite frankly, that is not what this thread was about. I would not wish what that woman is going through on anybody but, in this world, you make your own road.  None of us put her in harm's way, she made that choice all by herself.  Furthermore, as someone else pointed out, when she got caught she tried to say that the drugs belonged to her "customer".

I have human compassion up the wazoo my friend but what this lady did WAS stupid.  It obviously was not her first bad decision in life and, sadly, it may not be her last but there are options available to this woman. Society WILL help her but first she has to decide to help herself.

Maybe you could go seek her out and extend that helping hand. Let us know how it works out.  The folks who responded here are only guilty of being members of a chat board and perhaps making some better choices than the woman in that hotel room did.  Your attack is unwarranted and out of line.

she had this drug issue b4 she stepped foot in that room or posted an ad for her time.
My point is she is NOT the norm in this biz and she is what society and the media would like you to believe is the norm. She is just more bad press, and if she was level headed and not drug addicted she most likely would not have been arrested. But you can feel better cause as she sits in jail, they will detox her on Our dime, and maybe she will get clean after that for good.  There is tons of help out there, she needs to want it.  This isn't some poor kid stuck in a mess she didn't put herself into, she is an adult who has a clear choice.  Like I choose to be clean, so can she.
I have true compassion for those in the midst of a struggle with any addiction, it is gripping and so difficult but many say enough and get clean. Compassion is one thing, being a fool is another. Don't slip into that fool role, every junkie doesn't want to be saved, they will play you over and over again to get what they want.
We don't know her so she could be ready, maybe this is the best thing to happen to her, but thats up to her now isn't it.

Peace...
Nicole
