Given the economy and stock market performance would this not be a great time for a providers Priceline website!  I doubt we could get Shatner to be a spokesperson, but you never know.  I would love to invest (if I ahd any moeny left) in this enterprise. Just think; I would like a five star lady at 6:00PM Thursday for three hours and I will offer $$$.  The site could come back with a desirable GFE and where to meet.

Providers are not a comodity like a hotel room or an airline seat.

The deal is that you'll get someone for the time you want in the area you want but you won't know who it is till the bid is in.  I wouldn't fall for that.

The provider herself is the main attraction.

I've done a lot of traveling and bonking, and I have used Priceline a fair amount. I agree that blind auction sites like Priceline work best for commodities.  

While sites like eBay have lots of unique goods, they are not blind - ideally you know what you are getting from the photos and description, and reputable dealers guarantee satisfaction.  The more unique an item is - an antique vase or piece of custom jewelry - the more risk you are taking.

As each provider is unique, and men have widely diverse tastes, an auction becomes problematic even if the site is not blind.  You are essentially asking providers to have rapid, market-based price updates, like airlines do, and to compete with each other on price.  Not surprisingly, many would reject this premise.

We do it all the time! You choose the provider, choose the day and time and then name the price.  Each provider gets a profile page with a direct link to her Bid 4 Fun page or guys can select from a list of providers accepting bids 4 fun.  We are still working on the site but the provider pics rotate and the bids are submitted directly to and responded from the providers.
Again, we are in the beginning stages.  Our friends in Philly and NNJ seem to enjoy it.

I would never be a part of that. I do not appreciate the constant widdling down of the fees for my time. Hotels are not giving us a break, Eros has not cut me any slack.My website still costs the same as last time I paid for it. This business is a luxury for the most part. Yes some Ladies run specials and most give extra benefits to our regulars, extra time, lower rate what ever...Many Ladies have just chosen Not to raise their rates in response to the economy troubles.
A deal such as this is way over the top. If you are putting yourself into financial distress to play this game, you may want to play less, or not at all.
We are not the value of a cheap coach seat. We are people for cryin out loud.  Ladies for that matter who you trust with your secrets, discretion, and so on. This comes at a price, and the coach seat on skyblue, anyone can have...there is a huge difference. You want everything for next to nothing. Move on to something else, this subject is soooo over played.

intended! Time spent with a wonderful provider is "priceless".  However, the reality of today's economy greets us each day. Hotel prices vary daily based on availability and demand.  It doesn't matter if one charges $$$$$ an hour if no one pays it!I look at it like this (my analogy) - I wouldn't think any less of my favorite nail salon making a special offering during these tough economic times - in fact, I would welcome it and appreciate the consideration given to customers during these times where folks cut out the non-essentials.
Truthfully, ladies are offering specials and still gents are unable to see them do to this economy.  Savvy shoppers are looking around and want the same great quality and service found here - no guess work or B&S (as in CL).  Perhaps it will not work for everyone, however, we have had great success with it.  We offer it on some Weds and have met new friends we might not have known as well as seen a few familiar faces more often.
As I stated previously, everyone may not agree - but "that's what makes the world go round".

I prefer to limit the Gentlemen I see to a select few each week, Enjoy my time with them and we both part ways knowing we were not rushed or in line, as to the 3rd 4th or 5th Gentleman in that day. I see it as Quality of service. If I were to do this, I would need to see more gentlemen each week to make what I make now. It takes it's toll well on me at least. I want to savor my experiences, and when they call even if I saw them only once a year or so ago, quite often I remember them even down to our conversation ect ( for real, it's in my reviews)... It all depends on what you want really I guess.
If you are interested in a time with a lady who is focused on the longevity of "Our" Encounters, regular clientele, an intimacy that is truely on a personal level, because she remembers, and all the shabang that makes it feel like a "Mistress" situation, she knows you, this comes at indeed a price. And those who crave this, are not attempting to bargain for what they truely want.
These gentlemen, know what this is worth to them and can in essence be like striking Gold.

If you hit an agency or indie up for a half hr lunchtime special, well you are not looking for what it is I am known to offer. I would know within the first 5 to 10 words out of your mouth in a call that we were not a good match.

Let's take golf for that matter,
I am not a golfer although I lived across from a really nice golf course/cc club, and had 2 Harley Davidson golf carts, just cuz they r fun to ride around.
Now those who play here in the summer every day, well they have $$$ for sure.
There are those i see once in a blue moon or once a month/week /bi weekly, what ever. ( this is equal to well reviewed Ladies and their sweet regualr Gentlemen callers )
Then theres me...I hit golf balls across the green cuz I am their nieghbor and they don't care ( just between us I think it has something to do with not wanting to piss off the redhead too)but God knows I can't play there, it's out of my $$$ league. ( I suck anyway) But seeing we are neighbors, theres some bend somewhat equal to specials or special rates for Our regular Gentlemen.
I am more of a miniature golf, golfer.
Should I ask them to "give me a break on the club membership cuz I want to play there? Or should I just accept that CC club membership is an expense I simply can not afford? ~FYI~ they don't want just everybody to be kickin around their course, they are selective. As are many Ladies.(Pricing also prices out some, you may not wish to deal with) as far as golfers are concerned mini golf is their CL, its still golf, golfballs, somewhat golf putter but to a serious golfer it is by no means...Golf.  And its cheap. Fun but different.
Or theres always the option my kids take, start at the back holes ( no pun intended) and only play through half the course til ya get caught and the groundskeeper kick you off Again!!! Uggghhh . This option would be equal to pickin up a civie in a bar ( free and risky, and do not expect to finish the game as you had hoped.)
Its all good and all has it's place and it's value. It all is golf to some degree but not all the same.
The moral of this story?
If you want to play at the nice cushy CC, and play the whole course... with  it's ultrasweet, well kept greens and the really nice Club house, Full bar and restaurant. Pay  the membership fees! It comes with all the extras, golf caddy, clubhouse, golf carts,(additudes lol ) and so on , (no windmill though).  Other wise...I am pretty sure mini golf usually has a snack bar although I can't always recommend it, and you can pick what color ball you want to play with. Always a plus in my book!( always a Must Have windmill as well.)
Oh boy...Did I lose you? I think I just went too far...hope you got the point.

Sure I love mini golf, actually played with one of my "special " friends a few times this summer, it helps that we both suck at mini golf.  LOL

I've always been a proponent of rate fluctuation.

The rate structure of certain products self-modify quarterly,  monthly, weekly- sometimes daily.

I think that the concept of providers selling sessions at competitive rates, particularly if they are touring or have experienced a high instance of cancellations/rescheduling etc. which has left her with gaping holes in her day is interesting and worth exploring.

This is a business and though many pay to forget that we cannot, lest we ending up paying to play in this high risk occupation with no return.

I ultimately decided NOT to build the site because I realized that it would be intrinsically flawed; as others have indicated no matter how much we attempt to refer to providing as comparable to any other commodity (in the simplest way possible) there are too many variables which could lead to the dissatisfaction of both parties with a "ProviderLine".

Fluctuation and rate modification/negotiation are things better left behind closed doors.

Remember guys:  you won't find your doctors or lawyers selling their services at cutthroat rates these days because of the woes of the economy- don't expect it of a provider, particularly one who does not have an established relationship with you.  However bids on extended time increments, special rates and creative marketing are all incentives which are reasonable and should keep everyone content.

I am delighted that my post created such input (for lack of a better word). I was more or less joking with the suggestion and was not totally serious. Personally; I like to be a little more selective with my hotels and ladies, so would not likely use the site myself.  Anyway, everyone should chill and have a sense of humor! That being said, if a couple of the ladies that responded here were available on priceline I would try to bid high!!  Enjoy the holiday season!
