great input. thank you.

Visiting Boston for a short time last week, I managed to free up a very limited window for myself.  After reading Whitney's stellar reviews (and reading her posts and website), I wanted to see if I could see her.  After a few e-mails and calls where her availability on my free day was in question, I noticed that she posted that morning.  I immediately called her (if I'd known earlier, I could have been there that morning) and arranged for a time in the early afternoon (she said she'd be able to extend her incall through our appointed time), telling her I'd give her at least an hour's notice if I got hung up.

After a morning of anticipation, I broke myself free of my obligations, made my way to her incall a bit early, calling on the way and leaving a v/m to let her know that, if it would be more convenient for her, I could get there a few minutes early, but that I understood that my appointment was for a certain time and I had no problem waiting for that pre-arranged time.

I called again on arrival and left a message saying I was there.  20 minutes later, a few minutes after the appointment time, I left another message.  I waited another 20 minutes and called again.  No response to any of these messages.

Disappointed, I drove back to where I was staying and sent an e-mail just making sure that everything was okay and wondering what happened.  No response.

I see that she posted today, so I'm glad to know that she's okay, but I'm still a bit flustered about why she would make an appointment and not be there, why she wouldn't return a call, even just to tell me that she couldn't be there, or why she couldn't send a one-line e-mail saying all was well, but something came up.

Anybody else have any experiences like this?  I'd love to try again on my next visit (whenever that might be), but I don't want to waste another couple of hours when those "me-time" minutes are so rare and precious.

I had a similar situation when she was staying in Providence. Had booked for next day, called repeatedly yet to no avail. Shit happens I guess.

See link below; can also search her name in Boston reviews.

17.  I missed our appointment and I forgot to call to cancel.  Can I reschedule?
Answer:  Probably not.  You’re welcome to email me or text me ONCE when you realize what happened. I understand things come up.  Even a text five minutes before you are expected goes a long way.

Yes, exactly... I guess it's a matter of practicing what one preaches (or not).  :)

i specifically remember the day you're talking about and all i can do is apologize publicly and ask that you email me privately for an explanation.  i understand if you don't want to chance setting up another appointment.

i would like to take this opportunity to address the no show issue a little though.

i think we all have problems with no call/no show situations.  the percentage of no shows that we get as providers is really high sometimes, especially in providence.  during my last visit in cambridge, i had 4 no shows. i don't call to ask where you are or anything when you don't show because i have no idea what's going on in your life or if you're in a situation where someone might ask, 'who is that girl that just called your phone' or if you're in a meeting or something.  i schedule a limited number of appointments during each incall day and when there are no shows, it leaves me scrambling at the last minute.

of the guys that replied to this post, i only recognize 2 names so far. i ask that you let me know your TER ID in my ads because it helps me know that you're more likely to actually show up. it also makes me feel a little more safe knowing you're a member of this specific hobbyist community and if you say 'hi, this is so-and-so-TER-name from TER', it tells me a lot and gives me a little better sense of comfort about seeing you also.   i'm indy and i trust my gut feeling when i get a call from a new guy.  if someone comes off harsh on the phone to me, and i'm not saying that's happened in any of your specific cases, i get a little nervous about seeing that guy.  honestly, being indy, i get spooked sometimes.  spooked as in something about one of the phone calls makes me feel unsafe or creeped out.  i can't help this.  telling me you're from TER right up front adds a little comfort for me.

it's extremely frustrating on both sides and i really do feel bad when something like this happens and anyone who has met me knows i'm sincere when i say that.  i won't lie, it stings seeing comments like this on the board because i love and take pride in what i do. i can't make the past go away but i hope this at least can turn into a 'help me help you' situation.

No comparison to the serial no show providers who frequent this board.

She's a serial double/triple booker who got caught. I hate that TER doesnt allow men to post reviews for girls who NCNS. She makes all providers look bad.

Moreover, these post are the men who post on TER. There are countless other lurker guys who don't post.

For example one lurker had a date with another girl, he took a viagra, which blurs his vision pre-sex. The other girl NCNSed. He drove home blurried eyed and got into an accident. It was a minor accident.

In summary, she disgusts me.

man up and do it under your ID.  It would make it so much more impactful.

i've NEVER double booked.  NEVER.  think what you want.  you seem more experienced in the hobby than i am.  i ask you;  how can we all be sure this is going to pan out correctly for the hobbyist and provider? i am here to learn.
