It is/was any Pat's fan greatest fear, but that's the NFL.

If he's out for the season, the games will still have to be played. Everyone's hoping that it not real bad and he's only out for part of the season, but it certainly doesn't look good.

I'm sure if its Cassel for the rest of the season, then the game plan will be scaled back.  Perhaps more running plays, quick short passes, and the occasional intermediate throw to Moss.

There are no easy wins in the NFL.  Everyone gets beat up on Sunday.  Its scary thinking of the Pats w/o Brady, but the games go on.

Game & field management is the key for any team to win.

As a long time season ticket holder and longer time fan since the early 70's, I'm not ready to concede our quest for the Super bowl just because we don't have Brady. Go back to 2001 when Brady was not the Brady of today. Forget last year’s offensive explosion, it’s been an anomaly throughout the Pat's long run. Smart heads up play and a control game, along with a lot of luck has been the hallmark of this team. I was at the Game yesterday and I have to Say that Matt Cassel(spelling) looked as good as the Brady of 2001 and I don't think that is a stretch. If you want to question this team start looking at Special teams kick return, O-Line and their ability to protect the QB, The D-backs, although they performed fairly well yesterday, and the d-lines ability to put pressure on the opposing QB. These have been the question marks throughout preseason and continued yesterday.

So as bad as it sucks not to have Tom, just remember we made it to the Superbowl in 1985 with a Pussy like Tony Eason. I think Matt Cassel is a big upgrade from him. Let’s look at this again week 5 or 6, we may all feel better by then.

never gonna make it. Hard enough with a healthy Brady but there are glowing holes in aging defense..remember the chiefs are a pretty low end team and with Cassel they will be on the field more than usual as Brady was the master at handling the clock so they are toast. I pray I'm wrong but common sense say's you can't steer the racecar with a new driver and expect to be the best.

You make good points but let's hope that I'm right. If the rest of the team can get back to form then I think we can have an exciting season. Well we can't do worse than 1-15.
