Showed up to an incall after exchanging emails and made the call at the meet time. She called back when she was ready in few minutes with the room number. 4 minutes later I was at the door knocking, and no answer. Tried calling, went to voice. Went back to car and called again and it sounded like is was picked up and hung up quickly.

I just can't imagine what could happen in 4 minutes.

She is highly reviewed and regarded as one of the top providers in the area too. Just wondered what could cause this to happen.

And I don't want to name names either, just wondering if this is common or how I can prevent it happening.

well looks like you can't prevent it, shit happens and there's obviously a reason.

She looked out of the peephole and didn't like what she saw. Sorry this happened to you.

Maybe she doesn't like younger guys.

I'm early 30's in good shape and fairly good looking. Not saying I'm a GQ model, but I'm far from repulsing.

Shit happens, but there are a lot more out there. Just found it very odd because she has been so personable and easy to contact, now nothing.

Little dissapointed, cause I really wanted to meet her, and having been trying for months. Actually got cancelled on before due to her not feeling well.

Maybe it just wasn't meant to be............

Perhaps she doesn't like younger guys, but usually most providers, if they have a specific age preference, mention that.

Did you contact her back just to perhaps reconfirm another appt. or something?  Or perhaps make sure things were a-okay?

Just my two cents...keep the change.

It's possible she got some wacky LE vibe for some reason. Something like that happened to me once (I look LE-ish). Perhaps there was something entirely unrelated to you that spooked her for some reason.

Or perhaps she recognized you - could be that she placed you "in real life" - might be a blessing in disguise.

That's another reason that someone would do that. Is it possible that she knows you from school, work, the gym? I would be freaked out if that happened to me and I might not answer the phone either. That's one answer you may consider. xoxo

But a similar situation happened to me about 3 years ago.  Had an appointment with a well known, well reviewed provider, which would have been our third meeting.  Had a great time with her previously.  Confirmed with her by phone an hour before the appointment (before I got into my car for the 40 minute drive/park into Boston).  Got to the hotel and no answer.  I must have milled around the hotel over an hour trying to call her, only to get "voicemail full" every time.

I found out about two months later she decided to retire and marry her boyfriend that did not want her escorting.

Truth is stranger than fiction!!!

Not me, but I know girls who prefer not to be with Indian, African-American, South American etc...

Do you fall into any particular race? Might be a thing to consider as well...

A few have asked through PM who it was. I will not name names. It wasn't my intention to call this person out. And even if I did I wouldn't discourage people from seeing her. She is highly regarded for a reason.

I was mainly curious if this happens often. If I thought at all it was a risk for others I'd speak out.

Really no harm no foul. Lost time and $5 for parking.

I do believe you are due an explanation.  You could call again and just ask what happened.
No hard feelings.  You just want to know what went wrong…

Maybe you are due an explination and maybe you are not. I have had this happen a couple of times to me. I have heard "I feel asleep", "ran downstairs to the vending machines", "last appointment ran late and I was in the shower". The list goes on and on. You said that you do not want to call her out but you should, they (the providers) would and do call us out. It's one thing to be stuck in traffic or get a little lost, but as in life these things do happen. It is rude to just not show up and not call for this the client does deserve to be called out. But not for things out of our control. The last time that this happened to me I did call the provider out and it seemed that I was not the only one who had that happen with the same provider. Yes I too drove to the location and called and was told to call back in five minutes which I did and got the sorry the mailbox is full message. I did however try to call a few more times on my way home and did her she said come back and call from the location. It was just like the movie Groundhog Day. If it will make you feel better to know that you are not the only one who this has happened to with this provider then you should call her out. I am sure that you are not the first one she has done this to. That's what this board is all about. After all it is a buisness and in the buisness world customer service goes a long way. Would you spend your money in a retail store that had poor customer service? I know I would not.

I got blown off once...same situation.  Made call, get there, no answer.  Then a month or so later, we connect.  I go to her room, use the bathroom, door knocks, some dude waiting to get in.  I got nervous and left.  She double-books, is my guess and the last one to the door is SOL!

could very well save one of your brothers here from having the same experience.  Some lost time might be OK with you, but some of us do NOT appreciate NCNS and being left standing in a hotel hallway knocking on a door that won't open.

You never know if another guy had the same experience as you, but because he didn't share - you got stood up. Helping each other out is one of the reasons for these boards.

If you don't want to do it on the board, you should at least be willing to by PM or NHTed is right, this is a waste.

Think of it this way, now that you've "identified" her as a "well reviewed" provider, now all of the well reviewed providers are suspect - is that fair to them?

If she had a legitimate emergency or cause for concern - that is fine (though it would be sensible for her to take care to smooth over the situation by extending something be it time or a slightly lower donation for your inconvenience).

But to just leave it "as is" isn't fair to you or others who may receive the same treatment.

I was in this situation once - and I had become frightened for some reason.  I'm lucky to say that person was also very gracious about it and has been one of my best guests for a couple of years now.

I hope that she contacts you, explains herself and that you're able to find your resolution...I also hope that if you aren't contacted that you will reconsider PM information exchange - because after all, that is what this website is about.

Years ago this happened to me twice in a row. It's one of a few reasons I won't go for an incall anymore. I've been blown off for outcall as well, but at least I was home.

It happened to me just recently. It was also a well reviewed provider but, in my case, it was someone who I had even seen before! She knows me!

We spoke around 30 minutes early, just to confirm that everyone was on schedule and even did some chatting about stuff. I arrived at the location 15 minutes early, called and got a "click" (answered and dropped). I called several times and even called her assistant but got no answers or replies to VM or paging. In MY case, I was thinking the worst: asked to leave the premises by management, detained by LE, kidnapped by a stalker (she had been in a public place near the destination during our 30 minute early phone call), ...

HER WELL BEING was my biggest concern. I felt terrible and asked her just to leave ANY message to put me at ease. ("You're a jerk and I never want to see you again." Whew! Other than that, you're at least OK!)

Then I started worrying about me, then I left after having waited around 40 minutes, then I finally spoke to her assistant two days later and she explained to me what happened. It was believable and reasonable and she assured me it wasn't me but a rare screw-up.

I'll try to see her again, for sure. (I just hope it doesn't happen again.)

Providers: if you need to cancel, for whatever reason, please leave a message so guys like me don't worry about your safety and well-being.

You were stood up. You wasted your time. You went up to her room sttod in the hallway and knocked on the door. You left a tech trail when you called her. You should call her out. We all get stood up everynow and then. Is your time worth anything? I know my time is. You walked into a hotel and went up to the room she told you stood in the hallway and knocked at the door. You could of been seen from the room across from her room, or by anyone else looking out of there pep hole. Not to mention that you were probally caught on camera. I assume that you walked by the front desk when you entered and left the hotel. A smart desk clerk would have noticed you enter and leave. We have to be extra carefulabout our visits to hotels since the CL incident. If it were me I would call her out unless she gave you a good reason for why she stood you up. Many hobbiest think you should afterall this is what this board is all about, for other hobbiest to learn from our experiences. If you are not going to call her then you should not have even started this thread. Look she stood you up, if you stood her up she would csll you and probally list you somewhere.

I have heard of racial preference by some providers. It happens. A hobbyists that is upscale and educated is better off avoiding them, regardless of his ethnic background.
