Being the old lady of the Boston board (I was one of the first posters when the Boston board started in 1992)
I can honestly say that we have not had any true Bullies on this board in a long, long time. We do however have some very opinionated regular posters, but true bullies there are none.
Nicole is not a bully, she is a very smart, opinionated woman who always speaks her mind but unlike a true bully she would never intentionally hurt anyone just for her pleasure. She has her views and opinions on things and isn't afraid to speak her mind about them. Opinionated yes, bully no.
Papidog is not a bully either. I have known him for many many years. He also has his views and perspectives on things but would also never intentionally hurt anyone.
Escalade, well what can I say about him? Think of him what you may, but kuddos to him for bringing the Boston board back to life. A joker, a big kid yes, harmful no, a bully not in the least.( and No I am not shilling for him as he is not one of my clients).
We have had our share of board Bullies in the past and trust me at this time they have all gone away hopefully never to be heard from again. (IE Mr Robinson as well as a few long gone moderators).
I am happy and feel privledged to be a member of this happy but disfunctional family called the Boston board.

PS. If you have a lot of time on your hands read the boston board from the beginning to see how far we have evolved. If you can get pass the boring parts, you will see some funny and interesting train wrecks, true bullies, nasty cat fights, interesting humor but most of all the true love of the hobby by all involved.

I don't know why I had 1992 on my mind, the boston TER discussion board started in 2001. Also if you plan on taking up my suggestion of interesting reading material, note that back in the day there was no seperate ad board and there was also no rules about how often you could post so the beginning is daily ad posts mixed in with a little discussion. Also note that most all of the links to websites and pictures from back then have been long gone. I really wish they still worked I would love to have seen my god awful homemade free websites and pictures and websites of all the long gone providers.
I don't like this at all.
We don't need a virtual "shit list" on this board.
Many of us are connected by very few degrees and very real friendships or knowledge of one another.
If someone you do not care for speaks to you directly, handle that.
If you are speaking in the confidence of another member or a friend, speak freely.
But to create a thread purely to name individuals?

I know I do not post often and am not always even looking at the board. I know all I see is Lamont's splendid postings. But, did I miss something? What is going on here? It seems to be a return to the wild west here with bullets flying. I guess I don't understand the original post or some of the responses. It seems I have been napping through the foundation for these postings.

The problem is these opinionated people sometime don't like it when people disagree with them, that is when the
the trouble starts. They start to attack the person or persons that disagree with them, that is when the bulling starts.
You see this in life all the time these day, look at politics, gun control, and religion. Everyone has a side and they act link their side is right and the other side is wrong. Sadly not much you can do about it.
Most of these people hide behind alias, which to me is a cowardly act, if you don't have the balls to post under you real screen name then you shouldn't be posting at all. I have an alias but have never used it.

I have opinions, a sharp tongue, or in this case "sharp keyboard" when provoked but bully is not something I've ever tried to be, anonymously or in real life. I've never written a bad review to hurt a girl and the few bad reviews I have written were bait and switch or a really nasty man-hater. I've toftt more than once and not ran back to hurt a girls biz as much as that is the purpose of this forum (to warn fellow hobbiest not to waste their $$) if drugs or safety is involved then yes I'll call it out. I NEVER threatened anyone and please feel free to go back to check my post if you think I'm backtracking. I said "I would not support Escalades spamming on this Board and not hobby with his lady friends that defend him and encourage his nonsense and I hope like minded hobbiest would do the same" that's a statement and not a threat. I believe I also said to support those lady's if you like their post and and ES64 and agree with his nonsense..(that was conveniently overlooked) Even some of the girls that try to explain his immature posting behavior have told me that he'll probably go away soon when this forum no longer elicits the responses he craves.
