Make no mistake...let's kill this urban myth right now.
There is NO such thing as an "LE check" or anything else that will guarantee you to be safe.
It's just an illusion created and passed on by people who break the law and are looking for some kind of guaranteed "get out of jail free" card.

There is at least one documented case that went all the way to the supreme court.....where an officer actually completed the sex act just to get an arrest. LE won that one.
It's out there...I'm just too lazy and tired to look for the link now.

The truth remains the same. This is an illegal activity, and while it's not high priority in some areas, it's still monitored.

They can do what they want, when they want, in any way they want, to make an arrest. Even if you aren't convicted the arrest record is there. That's their game.

As in life, there are no definites, and there is no definite "LE check".

I have seen references to this on here.  How do you check? Feel each other up at first?  How does that help?

If they want to get you, they will.

First, did you do your research?  Second, if I was LE you were busted the second you walked through the door.  No need to ask if I'm LE and didn't you learn the rule, STFU.  
Seriously, I've had a few walk through the door, close it, latch it, and ask if I'm LE.

I don't believe that these services will help keep you safe from LE, not with the resources at there disposal. I don't think any type of screening can. References? Those can be arranged. In fact, trying to deter LE from doing what they set out to do can be counterproductive. The more difficult you try to make it for them, the less likely you may be to get a break.

You see sites or ads with wording such as "by entering this site", or "by viewing this ad you agree that you do not have any affiliation with LE". Complete rubbish. Someone doesn't discuss services? Ok, but if you do them it doesn't matter. Put the donation in a white envelope and don't mention money? So what. If there's an ad and a meeting, you're as done as they want you to be. If you're targeted there's nothing you can do. Just try to make yourself less of a target than someone else and if you get caught, throw yourself at there mercy and hope for the best.

Chelsea, you mention dirty cops. A dirty cop may rob a girl or use authority to procure sexual favors. Of course laws vary state to state, but when it comes to making an arrest, they can usually go as far as they have to.

Most people don't get busted at all, whether they use these sites or not. All I'm saying is that if you are targeted, no screening in the world will prevent it.

Having read the article, I would say a way to keep from atracting LE would be to beware locations where they might get tibe getting fed up with all the clear signs of the hobby going on. Maybe a boat or a limo would be a good venue for hobby activity.
