Isn't it a little uncool to post a providers phone number in a review if she initially required clients to contact her through email? I have a system that works well, where I require new clients to talk to me through email first, then I either send them my number or they send theirs... I am a little annoyed that someone would post it online for everyone to see... now I'm getting all these phone calls from people I don't know... Is there anything I can do to prevent or fix this... it seems like bad etiquette to me. I already made a problem report and politely emailed the  client who posted the review...

I posted a providers phone number in a review after she had been posting it all over TER's Boston Board. I felt really bad when she contacted me. I did my best to have TER remove her phone number. A sit turns out you don't have to include the phone number in the review. It is not required if she is an e-mail contact only.

I will say that TER was very slow to respond and required several notifications but in the end they did comply and remove her phone number.

Moral of the story, check with your provider before posting a review if revealing her number may be an issue. Also. if your a provider and your posting your number all over TER, don't be surprised if your number shows up in a review. your sending a double message.

I believe you have followed correct protocol, and ter will delete the number form your review record. it may take up to 5 days for them to act upon your request.

You submitted a problem report, right?  It might take 3-4 days but if you don't see it corrected, submit again or pm the mod.
Good luck!

In your case it makes sense, she had already posted it online- but I keep my number off the internet- that's why I am mildly annoyed.
