hmmmmmmm just an FYI...Salem, albeit a cool place at this time of year....is chock full of college age partiers...I do not mean just a few lol...I mean wall to wall...they are bringing in LE from surrounding towns just to maintain order...still, it could be fun with the right company

Hey, Sonia I'm from AZ, too by the way. I don't know if you're looking for THE Boston thing to do on Halloween but I don't think you need to go to Salem. I would think Harvard Square would be pretty amusing and there are plenty of pubs and restaurants. You might check out the websites for the various local newspapers, especially the Globe, Boston Phoenix, Improper Bostonian, Stuff at Night, The Weekly Dig. I'm not a Club person so I don't know that whole scene. Actually, I just thought of two places that might be really fun: Jacques Cabaret, a drag club near the Boston Park Plaza (jacquescabaret dot com), or if you are looking something REALLY out there Manray Nightclup "home of the boston underground" (manrayclub dot com). Ah, all the places I never go to. Actually, I'd really love to go to Jacques sometime. I hope you have a great time on this favorite hoiday of yours!
