Many of you worry about your lives, jobs and whatever you feel you stand to loose. You don't want to be verified. Recent events have shown you why we need to screen you. I must admit that this is an example of you girls having every reason and right in the world to do so. It was very frustrating for me a few years ago when I came into the hobby, of course not having any references when I did, and encountered the reference problem.

While it can be frustrating for us gents I must admit that you girls have every right to request as much information as you need, if the gent can't provide it then he can't see you. Providers should know though that most of us are so oblivious to violence toward women, we find it so abhorrent and so foriegn to our being, that we just dismiss the concern as unjustified at times.

I just heard about this today. Before I saw her pic I figured she was some part time street girl that also spent time on craigs list, but I was wrong, an absolutly beautiful girl. I didn't think girls as gorgeous as her were even on that site. Hopefully the police investigation of this piece of shit will garner some clues as to how the whole thing transpired, and hopefully this information will help to prevent cases like this in the future.

As mentioned a hundred, no a thousand times please all of you remember to "Play Safe" I wonder if Julissa knew about the incident on the North Shore a week or so earlier? If she had perhaps she would still be with us. In my humble opinion I think TER should relax the provider only board prerequisite of 3 reviews to 2. When the lady was assaulted last year, it was like secret squirrel to find out who to look out for. All because I only had 2 reviews and couldn't access the provider board. Posting warnings on other provider boards isn't as commonly used as this medium.

Exactly. Reference, screen, speak with potential clients. Take the time to know who you may be meeting with. Dont be in a hurry, or go by the sound of the voice.We all need to do our homework. Respect each other. This is a very sad incident.(s)

This poor girl probably didn't demand references from this piece of shit, but no one knows yet, maybe he has an accomplice or had some other way to verify himself that put her at ease.

It is not fair to say that she didn't take any precautions, not to say that any posters on here have anything but sympathy for her, not saying you don't. She probably did little if anything to verify the guy, but you don't know until they catch the murderer.

Hopefully the authorities will do more than just say, "well this is why we do busts." Hopefully they will reveal any tricks this piece of shit pulled that might be useful to providers in the future.

Just as a person to person thing, I would want the ladies I see to be comfortable with me and feel safe. I don't mind the screening that much, as I feel it's an important part of getting to that comfort level. After all, I do some research myself before attempting an appointment with someone. I have to be comfortable with either the agency, the lady, and if possible, both.
