I need some helpful advice on getting verified. It's been a few years since I've seen someone, both here and in another city where I once lived. Couple the lack of references with the fact that I work in an industry (not LE) that concerns providers I seem to have an issue with the verification process. This week, I e-mailed and talked back and forth with a very pleasant and attractive woman. But in the end, no recent references and the jitters over my job left me with no appointment. with everything going on here its got to be tough. Is there anyway to contact those you seen years ago and see them again? Or if they remember you ask them if they could be used as a reference.

I would agree - contact the ladies you have seen in the past and see if you can have them contacted for a reference. Since its been a while they might need some details to help refresh their memory.
Some ladies will see guy with older references. Some require something a little more recent.
If the job thing is an issue perhaps see if she will meet you in a public setting to have a drink or grab a bite to eat. An extended session with her that includes this might help make the both of you feel more at ease.
