Would anyone care to comment on the value of the eros website in relation to craigslist

Eros was once a useful tool, but has come to rival Craigslist in terms of scams and general un-trustworthiness.  

In fact there are probably more scams on Eros than on Craigslist.

The litmus for an Eros ad is simple:  If a provider on Eros can't be vouched for through TER reviews, or is unmentioned on any TER discussion board.... 90 percent chance it's a scam or bait&switch.  

Lots of fraudulent postings on both boards.  Eros is considered to be the "higher class" site, but fully half of the listings there are bogus.  Craigslist is acknowledged to be more of a mine field regarding reliability of the ads.  So in either case: "Caveat hobbyist."  Check the phone # against the TER database to see whether there are any reviews for the lady posted.  No reviews?  You can roll the dice, or else move on and save your hard-earned dollars for someone who is more likely to give you what you want.

Craigslist is free, therefore you get ALL types of people posting legit and BS.  Those of us that place ads on the Eros Guide pay good money for our monthly listing.  While it is possible to have some Bait and Switch types as well as Rip Offs, it is doubtful Eros would continue doing business with a lady with a bad reputation.  To do so would ruin their credibility.

My suggestion to you is that when you find a lady you might be interested in seeing, check for her TER Reviews.  If she doesn't have any and you've spoken with her, ask her if any reviews exist.  No reviews?  Then you better be willing to take one for the team.  It could be that the lady is new, but if she is from Craigslist I would be extremely careful of LE and Rip Off Chicks.

The majority of guys I've met who have admitted to being ripped off met the lady through Craigslist.  I can tell you some unreal stories, my favorite being the girl who got into it fast and lured the client into the bathtub for a nice hot bath between rounds.  As soon as he got into the tub she said she had to go get something and a moment later she was out the door with his laptop and wallet.  Then she had the nerve to call back and say that she and her friend (who apparently was waiting for her exit) had the condom with his seed, and if he started any trouble with the police she would claim he raped her.  The poor gent was from the UK, so he did nothing.

Dunno what else to say except I know there are some legit ladies on CL, but if you're asking about which listing is better and safer, by far it is Eros Guide.

I started on Eros less than a year ago. With NO reviews, and have met a few ladies from the site. All legit in the Boston area. Some have reviews some prefer not to have reviews.

In my opinion Eros takes as many measures as possible to screen ladies when accepting them. However, if in doubt as mentioned earlier you can always search old posts with the ladies name and see if any red flags were raised.

Or you could ask her if she has a provider reference -)

Anyways, I have used CL and found some "diamonds in the rough".   I have never been ripped off, but that is because I do not do anything that could get me into trouble.   I do not see anyone at my location ever unless I know them well.  

The beauty of CL is that it is "immediate" in that the women are posting their availability right now instead of an ad that was posted two weeks ago.   I simply cannot schedule weeks in advance.

Also there are many "red-flags" that will cause me to skip a CL ad even though it looks like a great idea to many.

...My pics with unblurred face to match with my ID picture to see if the pictures were really me, and also a picture holding a sign written Eros-Guide and the date to see if the pictures were recent before putting my ad online!
I dont know if they do this with everyone, probably not. It would be awesome if they did!

As a provider I vote for Eros although I am fairly new to it, but there is a lot of reputable and well reviewed providers posting on CL, is up to the seeker to do his homework and see if the girl is legit.

I have also met some good girls on craigslist.  In fact the best session I have ever had was from a girl who only advertised on CL, though she is long gone now.

I have also found a lady that is a few steps down in the looks department, but gives incredible head for a great price.  I use her when I am looking for a quickie.

I have also never been ripped off, though I have had some experiences that were less than great, but that has happened with other well reviewed girls at times as well.

I also like that you can get a feel for who is available at any given time.  I rarely have the opportunity to book something a few days, or hell even a few hours, out.  With CL I can find some regulars on very short notice.
Now if TER had a section that was just for posting availability so I could see who was around now, I could give up CL

Of course, there are some big red flags, but if you are carefull you can be alright

Seriously, Eros is a step above CL.  There will always be scams; look at how many famous people Bernie Madoff scammed for decades.

Personally, I'm not interested in the type of guy that would see a woman trolling for business or exploiting herself with trash talk at all hours of the day and night.

My business model is to attract mature professional gentlemen who are staying in upscale establishments, not a Motel 6.  They find me on Eros and we get to know one another prior to their visit.  Most visit Boston frequently and end up becoming regulars.

I would lose some of my clients if I posted on CL.   Professional gentlemen don't want to be with a woman who takes risks, which is in line with the fact that I would not want to see a guy who does more than lurk on CL or is sexually explicit with me.  

Suggestive and playful is one thing, blatant trash talk = no class

I feel there is no comparison between Eros and CL, regardless of the women who wish to play games.  Eros has been good to me, although I do have a decent reputation and a unique niche which helps.

It's bad enough to get calls from the sketchy guys who call me because my profile and photos get hijacked to sites like Backpage and Cityvibe.
I cannot imagine the types of men who call women who consistently market themselves as a disposable sex doll or advertise on low end sites like a virtual street walker.    If ladies want to meet respectful men then they have to respect themselves.  The scammers may snag a few, but they never prevail.

But as they say, there is something for everyone-even me.  (Old Geezers, come hither!)

Hello TER board members. I would like to clarify the false post that Camille of Boston wrote about me. I am Enchating Eliza. I am a provider in NYC of long standing as you can tell by my reviews on the TER. In response to Camille... and all of the TER members I would like to say that I am semi-retired and working with a few young ladies and one of them is the lovely young Camille in NY. She is under my account because she works with me. Her pictures are verified with Eros and they also verified her identity before I posted her pictures with a valid photo id.  

Before Camille of boston posts these allegations on the discussion board she should at least have contacted me to see if they were true or not. And How could I possibly be Camille when I clearly am an exotic brunette and Camille is a blonde statuesqe model. Camille, you must have an unlimited amount of time on your hands to waste time looking at my ad and and other ladies web addresses.

Anyone who books an appointment Camille of NY will see the the woman in the picture. They are her private modeling pictures taken from a professional photographer from her runway modeling career.
