I know many hobbyists in the TER community have had lower back surgery in the past. I am curious to know how surgery has affected your sex lives both in the short and long term. Specifically I am looking for info on:

Recovery period
Frequency
Intensity of orgasm
Desire
Positions
Strength
anything else you can think of.

Feel free to respond here or pm me.  Providers, if you or anyone you know has had back surgery, feel free to jump in.

Thanks.

I had a discectomy a few years ago (L4-S1 if I recall correctly). Recovery took about 1-2 weeks for the back to heal and feel 100% again. I don't believe there has been any affect on my desire, frequency, strength or intensity....

I've had two lumbar surgeries. The second took quite a lot longer for recovery, but if you do as you're told to promote the healing, you shouldn't have any issues. I still have two additional discs that are herniated, but stretching exercises keep them at bay. You'll be fine.
