I really hate to do this, those that know me know that I'm genuine & have a zero tolerance for drama, but... It's been brought to my attention that a provider whom formally worked for RSG has been pm'ing clients and stating that I suggested she contact them because I felt they'd be a really good match. Again, this is a former RSG provider of which I am not affiliated with and haven't been since the closing of RSG. In speaking with the more recent agency which represented her since rsg, It was also suspected she was being dishonest with clientele there. I will only ever refer a client to an agency or an Indy and never vice versa. I have confronted this individual and of course these circumstances were denied, however I am now left with a bad taste in my mouth. I have told her "do not put my name on anything I am not genuine of "... I just don't trust it, and I am asking you to be Leary of anything in similarity. I don't want to start a fued here, my intention is to keep your best interest (clients) as well as my own at heart... theres very few ladies you just can't go wrong with and then there's those in which ymmv is an understatement. I just don't want anyone taking her bait because they are trusting in her words that I have suggested them, which I have not! Please pm me if the above circumstances may have also applied to you.

I trust Bonnie completely and this won't change things between us.
As for the provider, I was a bit surprised by the email but engaged in a few benign questions. I can understand why a woman contact me without prior approval. Her message eas actualky quite pleasant. But her having that particular email address did trouble me. But I'm willing to consider it a legitimate MISTAKE!

But it's a mistake that shouldn't be repeated. With me or anyone. I can imagine several good reasons for this to occur because the provider in question has a good reputation as far as I can discern. But please, sweetheart, learn from your mistake. Don't use someone's name as a reference unless she ok'd it.  

I can also see where Bonnie would be upset because an assistant's reputation is only as good as her word. I've worked with her enough to consider her as honest as anyone I've worked with at any agency.

With that said, I only found out about this transgression by doing my homework. She was used as a referral and it was my responsibility to verify that info. To say she was surprised would put it mildly.

Lesson for all .... always do your homework and verify every reference that comes in your direction, be it from an agency or an independent provider. At the end of the day, who knows whose really on the other end of the "line" ...  

I was gonna use an alias but felt that Bonnie deserved better of me. Maybe this will bring validity to her position of not being part of this "mistake". I also respect her for not outing the provider. Nor will I. Unless the provider wants me to ... let's just  ,call it water under the bridge. I've never seen this gal before and won't now. But not because of the mistake. It was because I don't feel we're a good match. And as you may know by now, I have my favorites and it's impossible to break into that circle. Only one woman has. Since making this post I've learned that this individual has contacted others with dishonest approaches through pm here in.  I still stand firm on my prior statements for reasons being. Please do not contact me to question whom this individual is, as I will not stir the pot!  It is no one whom I currently represent/assist, nor will I. Several times this individual has requested if I would book for her and I politely declined for my own reasons.  
I feel that perhaps her doing this was just a desperate attempt for business on her behalf. Non the less fella's just be forewarned & We'll leave it at that.

My points have been made as to address a warning to my clientele of this matter in having their best interest and my own at heart. That is a job I don't take lightly. "I care" about my clients and about their well being, & "I care" about the way I conduct business with them. If a provider contacts you using me as a referral, it wasn't me. I ONLY provide referrals if you directly ask me to and ONLY for that specific request. I do so in a timely manner as not to interfere with your personal life outside this hobby. I would never suggest something or some one for a client that I did not trust in myself...
