Planning for Boston can be confusing.

Since I am not from the area, I am planning a big tour with a couple of cities and Boston is on the list. I like smaller cities because I plan to visit often and build connections. I would love to know a few hobby friendly cities I can consider that is not downtown, Thank you so much in advance for responding.

some city suggestions

Back Bay, Brookline, or Cambridge locations are closer to downtown.

Popular further out cities include Waltham, Burlington, and Quincy.
