Pardon me but...

No one should be naming hotels on this website. It's never been acceptable before and it's not acceptable now. I realize that no one has done anything stupid yet but, being the eternal pessimist that I am, I'm sure it's only a matter of time...

Key access is a reality in some hotels. It's a pain in the ass but the provider needs to figure out how to deal with it and yes, clients should absolutely be warned when they book.  That's why they call it HOSTING.

I have been frustrated by more and more key access elevators near the theater district.  I just sent a message the best agency in town to ask if they are trying to avoid those hotels.

I think it would be helpful if we started a theme thread on this.

The subject line could say it all.

Hotel Name _________:  Yes Key, or No Key

Maybe the message body could explain work arounds, but I am not interested in walking up 7 floors (as one recent reviewer mentioned.)

Believe it or notE reads the boards and seeing that YOU are an alias why should anyone tell YOU how they may be getting around this?
Ask the Lady you see she knows how but it's NOT for publication on a public board.

LE reads the board and if Hotel names are mentioned, they may up security. This puts both hobbyists and providers in danger by mentioning this on a public discussion board.

how to get around the key access should not be posted.

There is nothing wrong with the thread yet.

First, it hasn't violated any guidelines yet.  I'd rather deal with any specific reply posts that may cross the line as they happen rather than dump a thread.  It lets the guy have his little rant and puts a subtle reminder to the providers to remember to not let some poor guy find himself standing in a lobby with his dick in his hand instead of hers.

So for example, if someone were to post that The Dew Drop Inn at the Intersection of BB & BJ Streets require a key for the elevator, I think that is borderline, but acceptable,

However, if some idiot posts that SexySadie From St. Louis always stays at the Dew Drop Inn at the Corner of BB & BJ in Providerville MA, which requires a key for the elevator, but don't worry because she told me that all you have to do is stick your library card in the slot while simultaneously pushing the buttons for floors 6 & 9 to get past it; that would be crossing a line and the post would be rejected.

But Most importantly, by keeping it up, there is now a searchable thread where virtually all of the replies are saying that naming hotels on this board is wrong due to LE scrutiny and safety issues.  Theoretically, the next guy to come around would see that and get the message.  That's the beauty of a perpetuated Board.

I can understand your pessimism, but I'd rather be more optimistic about it, particularly since I got Laid yesterday morning and am still in a great mood. LOL  :-)

hey, dc, welcome, and i appreciate this thought-out, rational response to the moderating criticism in the thread. i was going to chime in, too, with the idea that conversations explaining the whys and hows of decisions are also important to keep around as reference points for posterity.

keep up the good eye and the good work!

I'm coming from at times.  Anyone can always ask why I've either done something or not done something.  It's an open invitation.  :-)

I'm not suggesting you take the thread down yet. I agree, no one has stepped over the line yet.  Just keep an eye on it.  Things are not the same as they used to be. In the past hotels really didn't care if there were a hundred escorts working out of their rooms. As long as no one caused any trouble they turned a blind eye and happily accepted the room revenue. CL has changed all that. Local and national authorities are putting pressure on the big chains to work with them on spotting suspicious activity.  Sorry but talking about specific properties is never a good idea. Even mentioning that a specific property has a pass key system is putting LE, who are reading this board every day, on notice that escorts are working out of that hotel. It's naive to think that any talk of specific properties is harmless in 2010.

If posted, I hope it's because the Mod read this carefully and approved it.  If not, thanks anyway, Mod.

In SOME situations, a push button call from an upper floor will bring a lobby elevator up. Therefore, if you have phone contact, you MIGHT be able to tell your friend that you are now entering elevator #3 and have her press the call button on her floor. If lucky, your elevator door will close and go to her floor. It works in the movies.

Of course, you might end up playing musical elevators until security asks you to leave.

Vegas has so many Hotels and Casinos, and so many of those are incredibly active and crowded, that publishing such a list does not jeopardize anyone's safety from LE.  Here would be a little different, but I don't see the harm in just identifying which ones have key access and which ones don't.  I agree with the previous posters that publishing how to get around the key access is NOT good, and DOES negate the reason for the key access.

I fully understand the problem.  There is nothing worse than not being warned that the elevator needs a key and then having to either stand around the lobby for her to come down, or trying to figure something else out.  In fact, if not warned, I'm leaving and won't come back.

The provider, if she is any good, will warn you and arrange to either meet you or tell you how to avoid the key access, without you having to remember to ask.

Good luck

As a provider, I sometimes pick hotels based on their security situation. I am not clueless when I book into a hotel. I look all around me and check all things out. I usally book in a day before and dont work till the next day, so that I can check it all out and know the ropes. If a hobbyist knows every hotel's security situation, then he will most likely just walk right on in without following the directions we were going to give him. There are little steps we often use to get to us. We do this for our safety. We need a bit of cluelessness in order to make sure the steps to get to us are followed precisely. I still think this is an inappropriate thread for a public discussion board. Boston is already known to be very LE active.

Besides, why would anyone crop up to say "yeah, I went to see an agency girl at the Howard Johnson on Smith street last week and ran into this issue".

Even if people don't describe how they circumvent the issue, just naming hotels on a public board is a security issue for providers.  Its an inconvenience to you guys...and a matter of some busy body staffer saying "hookers are using our hotel" and the police shaking us down at these properties for information.

Put it on the Reviewer Only board or circulate a list back channel if this is a real issue...but I think its something that should be taken case by case between the services and their clients.
I incall in Downtown or Back Bay nearly every week at a different property and have yet to run into this issue.

I incall in Boston and have been in hotels w/key access only on occasion but never have a problem just don't think with the ongoing LE issue that this is ok to chat about.

If its a concern of yours as a client address this with the Lady at the time of making arrangements if u r not satisfied with her way don't follow through.

Are you guys really so naive to think that
cops are so mentally restricted, that they have
to actually learn it from you, where the hookers are ???
I am sure they know it, without the need to read this board.
And what difference would it make to post the info on the "reviewer" vs. "public" board ?
Anybody can be a reviewer, a cop too..

And what's wrong with hitching a ride in the elevator ?
Most people who enter a hotel actually do have room keys with them :-)

Agencies that use these locations know some tricks.  You will be given instructions when you call for the room #

if she is on the 25th floor or what not you may want to leave early for the appt, wear sneakers and maybe sweats, bulk up on your carbs and def shower once you finally get to her room. The trip down I am guessing you'll take the elevator though.

No need to hit the gym on the way home after that workout.

haha stairs dont always work.  I once tried them, and the entrance doors to every floor was locked.  Had to call to get bailed out.  pretty awkward...

I know exactly what you're talking about and I can already what/where, etc. Been there, done that.

Honestly, I've almost always kept my laptop bag with me and acted like I have a room at the place I am seeing a provider.  At the same time, I act like I'm on the phone, so I can scope the lobby out a bit just so I know where to go.

Also hopping on with a few people also helps; I act like I left my card in my room and going back to get it from "my SO" in my room before I go out again.

Works like a charm everytime.  Annoying? Perhaps, but not a big deal.
