I'm turning (gasp) 50 next month and am thinking about buying myself a nice birthday present. Too funny! Actually, a couple years ago I went to my HS 30th reunion wearing my old clothes from the 70's! I have kept myself in good shape and (aided by dim light) I kept getting double-takes from people thinking I looked just the same. Seriously, (well, maybe that's not the right word) I am looking for someone with a sense of humor and who enjoys their work.

OK, I'm inexperienced at this, but I am not timid. Last time I did this was when I was in grad school and I noticed the house next door (which was unoccupied while it was being remodeled) had a side door I could jimmy open. I had saved up some cash and in the pre-internet era looked up a promising seeming provider in one of the local (San Francisco) tabloids. The house was totally empty and I told her (tall, busty blonde) that I had just founded a high-tech biotech start-up and had just bought the house. This was actually not too far from the truth, except that I was starting an academic lab rather than a company. Anyway, I said I wanted to christen every room in the house, and this being a San Francisco victorian, that was a lot of rooms. The game was we had to use a different position in every room, including the bathtub, shower, walk-in closet and garage. I brought a nice wine and some Thai take out and she got into the game, even willing to go overtime a bit in the spirit of things. I think/hope she had fun, too.  So now, I am looking for someone else with a sense of fun. I probably won't do this again, so I can't promise repeat business, but as an academic, I can write a kick-ass letter of recommendation!

I posted earlier wondering if the board was broken and a bunch of people wrote to complain that it was all provider ads, so I am trying to add some real stories here that I hope will spark some interest. I have no problem with the ads, it's just that one can't tell who's real from the ads.  I haven't done this for a long time, so maybe I just don't know what I'm talking about, but it seems like it would be nice to have some intermediate way to get to know people, like say if your normal donation was $400, one could take you out to lunch for $100 just to get to know you and see if things clicked.

But anyway, what I really wanted to say was that I am probably not your average poster here and that may influence people's recommendations. I am in a happy though very vanilla relationship for almost 30 years (and intend to keep it that way) but I am also bi and every now and then hook up for (safe) sex just for adventure, the more brazen the better. On balance, I like women better, but I have to say, it is a lot less complicated with guys. "You wanna fuck?" "Sure, let's do it!" Then we do. Simple.

That said, I have been getting more and more unsatisfied with age-appropriate guys. Out of shape, not taking care of themselves. Ewww. One of the reasons I've decided to pony up and pay is to be with someone who cares enough to keep the body in good shape.  My little game has always been sex in interesting places (last one was in the hospital ICU), but you have to be in good shape to adapt to odd spots (and sometimes make a quick escape!).

So, anyway, I am looking for someone fun and adventurous who enjoys the work. And if any providers are reading, please feel free to chime in since I have no idea what I'm doing here.
