Sometimes when shooting on location in Boston and area you get curious tourists snapping pictures of your photoshoot! Lynn you may end up on their Facebook pages. LOL

If you were to have your picture taken in Boston where would it be? Think artistic, fun, cool.

But if you are in the Public Garden, do be sure to get on a swan boat while you still can.

Lynn

I see good suggestions in the replies to your shoot location question.

Several local area models I have done shoots with wanted on-location shoots in Boston to create an iconic major city setting or branding for their websites. I have used several of the locations mentioned in replies.

One fabulous venue is the MIT campus in Cambridge, along the Charles River Basin, with the opportunity for shots that place the Boston skyline in the background - ... a rich visual signature for their websites.

For example, see Raynah's website, both the banner of her against Boston on each page, as well as the folder of MIT location photos called 'Raynah Shines.'

Campus settings, such as Harvard or MIT, have vibrancy and suggest youth and and an inquiring curiosity.

P.S. Photo on MIT campus. Chains and phallic posts were the model's discovery and sense of humor.

By the way Lynn, if you do get a shoot in Boston at the Public Garden, and your photographer is bringing high-end camera equipment, make sure she or he has paid for a permit to shoot. However tourist type point-and-shoot or camera phone opportunities are OK of course.

That is where Boston's pitcher's balls ended up in August and September, if not a few feet more out, like out of the park. My mama told me not to eat fried chicken while drinking beer, now I know why.

That is the cutest pic and she is hot, I can't wear those shoes though!  And I probably can't sit on the edge because I'm afraid of heights.
