So I've met a few great and very utr ladies as of late and they refuse to set up a website or join an established agency or even post on ter because of the real life and their paranoia of getting caught by boyfriend husband family co workers etc.
My question is this?
Given a " visual guarantee" I.e. if Shes not what She describe herself as in looks weight , height etc. you can walk.
Would you be willing to take a chance at finding a diamond in the rough and going without pictures like the old days?
I always found it extra fun to wait for the anonymous knock on the door to see if I was getting tricked or treated.
I have a friend that used to rent an adjoining room and we would get two girls from premiere or after dark or Lindsay's ( old school) agencies and he swears that half the fun was waiting to be pleased or not by the visual guarantee.
I think if handled by a screener like Nicole or a well know agency or a Sue Carson type phone girl these girls could still get work.

Man, I remember those days. My early days of the hobby. Before it was called the Hobby. Yes sir, the Phoenix was prime resource around here. I kind of miss those days. You would call an ad that gave a brief description of the lady. She would direct you to call from a nearby payphone (before cell phones), maybe describe your surroundings, and then direct you to her incall. Usually a house or apartment. I met a few diamonds in the rough back then. That was part of the excitement in those days. Memories. One of the lessons I learned back then was a larger size ad in the Phoenix didn't always mean the best service or hottest girls.
My issue with taking a chance with an unknown provider,even with a visual guarantee, starts with her appearance, but also has to take into consideration attitude and performance. So if she's hot, but has a bad attitude, or doesn't do things I need or enjoy, it's a waste of time for me. I think I would stick with providers whose reviews are consistent with what I need, especially at $300 or so a shot. Just my opinion.
Back in 97 I worked for an agency and there were no photos as you said and we were listed both in the Phoenix and a small local paper.
The phone lady sent us all over the place and we all did very well. I really enjoyed it and they had that very same guarantee, that if the lady at your door wasn't absolutely gorgeous and as described that you could turn her away.
Not only was our phone gal spectacular, many of us tipped her extra because she did so well by us. She was enthusiastic and could really pitch each girl very well ensuring they had a full schedule.

I started in early 90's out in Vegas and it was a crap shoot. I never turned anyone away. None of the ladies were as described! Especially when I picked up those fliers they used to have on the sidewalk in the newspaper vending machines (free). Would sit in my room getting the nerve to call and asked about so and so, how yes she's working I'll send her right over. Never did see the girl in the ad.
With the way things are now there is now way I would take such a chance. No reason to. The closest I've come is with an agency where I asked if anyone was in the area of interest but not to tell me who she was. I wanted to be surprised when I peeked behind the door

Wow! Pat J you truly are old school. I started this thing in 1993. $300-400/hr caliber girls were more like $200-$250. Most I saw back then were like $150/hr. I think the girls were less flakey back then too. Some really went above and beyond. Just my opinion.

guess backpage has a lot of desperate girls and bait and switch ads and phony pics but my point is this, I would be willing to see a classy lady that preferred her pics not appear as she wanted to remain utr as long as the service representing her was reputable and had a visual guarantee.

Its not Aldo its the lady herself that wants Aldo to OVER touchup.
when you see their pics and theres not one smidge or flaw...well that in itself is BS we are all flawed.
glamour shots are great but there needs to remain so glimmer of truth in there somewhere.
To unrecognizable almost plasticized condition that is inhuman. I've shot a few ladies myself and advised against this however as a photographer you do what the client requests. I shoot my own photos and do only light retouches to adjust lighting issues and keep my tattoos out of public view.
It is very important to reflect truth in advertising and always pleasant to have the client be surprised at how attractive you are in person.
A gent should never walk in expecting to see a fit attractive lady only to see she no resemblance of her photos because they were made to look thirty pounds thinner or like her body was sand blasted. It is very akin to bait and switch tactics.
Reflect who you are not who you wish you were.

I did say I've walked away from a few situations. The reason was never because of their photos though. I realize some may be heavily touched up, but at least I knew it was the girl in the photo. I've walked away from a couple of situations in the past. It was because there was some obvious shady stuff going on. Girl was giving me the runaround. Made me wait in the parking lot longer than I needed to be. She called and said 15 more minutes. Had bern waiting for 20 minutes already. I also saw some dodgy looking people in the parking lot. That's when I was out of there. Bye!

There are a couple ladies I've seen still traveling to this area that do this. Funny is knowing she has a Cindy Crawford mole or freckles on her nose but in the pics she has flawless skin lol
One lady in particular had a lot of tats and airbrushed them out. As usual a quick look at the pics I didn't notice. Got to the room and actually asked if she was *****. Stayed for the date and had a good time but went back to the pics and sure enough with a closer look for the tats I could see the blur. I did mention this in the review so others would know.
I'm not against tats but it does change the looks of a person !
I agree with grace that seeing a glamour photo set and then seeing an absolutely different looking gal at the door is akin to bait and switch.
I discount the pictures that are too well done in my decision making process and it is a treat if the lady is prettier or very much like her pictures.
The heavier girls usually have certain poses and corset type outfits I've learned to recognize and the heavily tattooed gals too can hide their body art quite well. I'm personally indifferent toward the ink but recently saw a heavily tattooed lady and had I bothered to read the reviews before going to see her and not just look at the numbers i would have known. Ill repeat with her because she was great but I disagree with that type of photo sets for your ads. Actually that's one of the very few benefits of Bp . The picture are usually armature and spot on.
I remember back in the mid 1980's with the Phoenix and pay phones and 1 of my ATF girls Penny. She was my first escort and probably 1 of the best. I use to go to the Old English as well and I use to luv the Broadway Health Club in Cambridge which was close by the Old English. I went to The Broadway in late 80's and all the 90's. It was set up like a gym where there was a semi open locker room where clients store their clothes, etc and waited for the girls to exit there massage rooms. You would stand nude in the quasi locker room and shower area and the girls would be right there as well. The gym equipment was right next to the massage rooms as well. However, I never saw everyone ever use the gym stuff. I doors on the rooms had 2 way peep holes that the girls would cover when they were in the rooms with clients. I use to see a girl that was very muscular and was working there to support herself while she trained for the muscle shows and competition. Her clit was huge. The club changed the layout so the massage rooms where in a separate part of the gym in a secured area and it was more private as well. Almost every girl eventually did full service after building a trust with clients. The club had significant legal problems ad shut down.
