I submitted a review of a lady who did not put her first name in the ad but told me once I called. I did a review as i always do, and they rejected it on the basis of " she had no name displayed in the text of the ad" Now thats bullshit !

Edit your review so that the name in your review matches the name in the ad.  I have done this before, and it worked.  You should be able to edit your "unapproved" review.

If she had no name in the ad, provide the link and email or phone, so TER can see and decide.

If she has no reviews...you can do a mini-review.  :-)

I'm curious, how would you rate??

Best of luck!

Not sure what good it does putting her name in the 'name' field as anyone that sees her ad then searches for reviews certainly won't know her name... :-0

There are a lot of ticky-tack rules. After the no-name rule, the worst one is the fact that if a providers ad resides on a TER competitor site, ter wont include it and will decline the review if she doesn't have an ad or website elsewhere.
I think the integrity of the database, having complete information, outweighs the desire to not advertise a competitor.

Just putting that out there maybe the powers in charge will make a change to the rules.

The lady being reviewed must have an advertisement on the web that includes her name and any one type of the following contact information: phone number, pager, email address or reservation form.

Hello Amaineyankee25, were you able to find a solution? I apparently have not, adding the name didn't work, it is still unapproved...  Typing the 'name' of her business and searching reviews will locate it here on TER.

Another 'TER Conundrum'?!

;-)

Followup for anyone still paying attention - I explained in a PM to TERSuport and they approved the review in less than half an hour!
