In an article in The Economist it shows Boston as the most expensive city, worldwide, for hobbying....I gotta move!

Sounds like they took a large sample from the overall market.  Many decent providers charge a bit more in NY and other cities than they do for Boston.  

I'd like input from the providers, as they set their pricing and variances for each city

I remember seeing this study just prior to a trip I made to Chicago.  While doing my research to find providers in Chicago I found that, in my opinion, the average hourly rate in Chicago was much higher.

In full disclosure, I haven't bothered to read that full article so I don't know exactly how the made their 'calculations' but from what I saw there were far more quality 'affordable' options in the Boston area and that when it came to 'check boxes' of possible activities the cost was also more reasonable

My sense is that other cities have a higher variance in prices than in Boston. In Boston, there aren't that many high end expensive escorts relative to say NYC. But other major cities such as NYC also have a larger population of lower price high quality escorts. As an example, in NYC or LA, you can find a lot of K-girls that provide great quality service for under $300/hr. In Boston, you can't really find that. The closest you get is probably BAD or RSG, but they don't offer the same value as the K-girls in other large cities.

Boston is expensive, but no worse than DC, where I live.  NYC, LA, and SF all seem more expensive, certainly at the upper end.

Sure there are and they are no worse then any high end types that you can find here for 500, 600, or 10,000.  

Most of them are UTR though who work limited number of days and/or with very low volume. They never advertise on the internet, rely on quality of their service to develop clientele and develop their clientele only via word of mouth. Good looking highly service oriented, reliable and HIGHLY predictable provider under 40 who works 2-3 days/week and always on the same days of the week and/or low volume would never suffer from shortage of clients. I've seen enough of them to feel confidently about what I'm saying. And of course they usually charge under $300, sometimes even way under it. There is a price for privacy.  

I suspect there are ladies like that in every city too.

How does one get on the radar for seeing these UTR folks? Yes I know word of mouth is the answer, but do you talk to other providers to find them? Talk to other reviewers? M&G? I would love to be able to break into some of these circles. If anybody wants to be nice, PM me!

This has been debunked many times and is of course myth. Try London with a weak dollar and a bird will set you back double this city, Vegas? Forget about quality gfe with less than $500 for an hour .
Not likely the quality of a Vanessa Fontaine or boston Alex would be around at $400  and a 1/2 hour in Vegas is $300 for a 10 minute cbj and  lot of drama. TER has provided me many a detour on the road from toftt but I've heard the nitemares from friend that were lazy and took a shot while traveling

Having hobbied in many cities and regions I can say for sure Boston is NOT the most expensive city!

Currently, I am in West Coast and feel there are a lot of choices and the good ones are certainly more expensive than similar ones compared to, in Boston
