and ban the fake reviewer is pretty much your only hope.   How long have you been waiting for TER to respond?

It can sometimes take a while for them to get back to you on something.

The only other recourse is to ask TER to pull all your reviews, but I'm sure that's not anything you would like.

For now, the only other thing you can do is put a notice on your site and/or advertising warning clients about the fake reviews and any implications for services you don't provide.

I hope you get some response from TER soon.

What I don't understand is this: here is a lady that has great TER reviews all around that's getting upset over ...what? That she doesn't recognize TER handles of those who wrote her reviews? Many people on TER have multiple handles so they can write honest reviews without it coming back to haunt them. If part of your screening process is to have your potential clients divulge their TER handles that wouldn't get you anywhere.

I used to see someone until she retired that asked people not to write reviews. Everybody respected her enough not to do it. If you clients respect you and you don't want to have internet presence just tell them. There are good and bad things about having reviews. You may have great reviews all around but it only takes one person for you not to click with and they could write about the experience being not up to their expectations.
After all you're only human. Some people would like you, and guess what there are always going to be those that wouldn't. There's one reviewer that says that he caught you in less than jovial mood. Well, guess what? You're not a robot. You're as susceptible to poor sentiments as much any of us. Shit happens, right? If you have multitude of great reviews and one not so good one nobody's going to pay much attention to it.

The lady I'm talking about decided that she doesn't want to read about herself on the internet and asked not to be written about. Period. She was still fully booked all the time because the word of mouth spreads like lightening if there is something really good on the market, especially if it charges a bit less than what others do. That's how capitalism works you know. It all boils down to quality of product and competitive pricing. Everything else is poetry.

Richardmiltonyes has a lot of reviews. He's a well known commodity. I'm sure Richardmiltonyes is not the only handle he uses on TER. There's no way TER would take any of his reviews down imo.

I have agree with the gents that say this is more about the scores than if these encounters took place or not.
This may turn into a sad learning experience for you, if you never mentioned this on the board not a guy in the world would hesitate to see you because of an 8/8 review. However, I think lots of guys may find you disingenuous if you did indeed try to scrub legitimate reviews due to less than your standard of scoring.

the reviews describe situations that she does not do.   So, this can cause problems if someone reads this and is disappointed when she does not conform to the review.

That is not scrubbing, in my book.

Like which situation? Greek? Her profile says that she does it. There are other reviews that say the same. For some reason she picked only those with the lower scores. I wonder why.

I don't know about you but I forgot how many times I've been offered discounts by both indies and agencies for top TER reviews. It came to the point when I stopped trusting any reviews with too many 10s and 9s. I have a feeling that she just might be doing that. Methinks we should strongly discourage that. Methinks TER should shut down her profile and have her start anew under different name.
