I cannot go into very specific details, but the Burlington and Woburn cops are definitely taking liberties in their crusade against suburban sex workers. A certain Burlington vice detective has a habit of simply barging in and taking laptops and phones from working girls. If the girl protests too loudly, she gets hauled in. In Woburn, one or more officers appear to be stalking girls outside the scope of a legitimate investigation. A girl has shown me convincing evidence that an officer is blackmailing her for sex. If you remember what happened in Andover a few years back, you already get the picture. In short, be safe and be smart. Never, ever open the door for anyone claiming to be a cop or a hotel employee.  In Massachusetts, a hotel room requires a search warrant, just like a house does. Last but not least, there has been a rash of police impersonators lately, guys that scare or rob girls while claiming to be cops. Okay everyone, take it for what its worth and good luck out there.

I entirely believe this. Cops are notorious for shaking down girls on the street, I have no reason to think legit girls would be treated any differently.
