I booked a 1st date a couple of weeks ago for this Saturday with a lady traveling to my area

She e-mailed me for my name and #, then texted me the next day that she could not wait to meet me (love when hey say that)

I e-mailed her yesterday as well as texted just checking in and I look forward to our date at 6 pm  
I have not heard back from her in 24 hours

Should I continue to wait or try to book with somebody else
Your thoughts if any ?

Did you check her calendar? If she is traveling and not in town yet I'd be nervous, and would ping her again stating so.  

yes she is traveling to Boston according to Date_check.
Her personal website has the entire calendar blank. Called to leave message
but her voice box mailbox was full.
