Did LC's brewer lose power in the storm?

And there's nothing worse than missing one's morning hot coffee because of a weather event!  (Once during a similarly bad storm, I brewed an old-fashioned espresso style pot of coffee over burning fireplace logs; it was the best-tasting cup of coffee I ever drank.  Hmmm. I wonder what other taste treats get better when the weather goes extreme?
