But perhaps the providers who visit here at other times could offer some insight into that

Hey folks,

I've been in this community since November 2009.  I keep checking the Boston board daily for new visiting providers.  I've been doing this since November '09 as well.

Is it just me or have there been fewer and fewer visiting independents coming through here?  Would the weather have anything to do with it?

Would anyone care to comment on seasonal trends.  Since I am new I don't have a lot of data points (but I guess could just search through old posts and count - too busy for that).

P.S.  Before someone yells at me for not supporting the local economy, I have seen one local superstar, but I am withholding my review until I see her at least once more. ;)

I don't think "scare" would be the appropriate word.  However, if I were a touring gal I could certainly see heading toward cities with a milder winter climate.

I agree there is some post holiday/winter slow down of travelers.  It may also have some aspect of economy involved.  Boston is still an expensive city to travel due to hotel pricing, etc.

Enjoy the local scene, there are many terrific providers in and about Boston.

There's no need to see her again to post a review. Please go ahead and tell us which local you saw.

Looking forward to your review.

I know there's no "need".   I just felt it would be a better review for her if I took better advantage of her services.   *My* performance sucked that day as I am still new to getting semi-regular sex.  I did not want that to reflect in her review.

Sweet Sasha.

I will definitely be seeing her again.  It's just a matter of when.  She has TER whitelisted me already.

The most active months for providers visiting Boston are those listed above.

Some visit at other times; but those are the biggest months.

I don't think it is due to weather.

Boston is gorgeous during June, July, August.   I wonder where they are going instead...

The Boston hotel rates get scary high during the summer and early fall.
